Well, who in the community hasn’t heard of Jennifer L.Armentrout or hasn’t read at least one book of her? I started with loving her Young Adult Paranormal Books, then fell in love with her New Adult contemporary Love Stories and now, she wrote a New Adult Paranormal? Hell YES was what I thought! And just as per usual, she does not disappoint – at all!!!
Wicked Awesome Setting & Storyline!
New Orleans is always a good place for a paranormal setting and this is where Jennifer set her new paranormal series with College Aged Characters. Ivy is part of the Order, sworn to hunt down paranormal creatures and protect humanity. But soon Ivy realizes that things are getting even more dangerous and she’s on the path to uncover a very dangerous truth! It’s a great, twisty and thrilling storyline that leaves no room to be bored at any moment and the end will leave you stunned and ready for more!
Wicked Awesome Characters!
Apart from the amazing story there are characters that are just awesometastic! Kick-ass, strong, stubborn but vulnerable enough to make you instantly fall for them! Ivy is an incredible heroine, a kick ass heroine who is afraid to get close to people she loves and is scared and afraid to lose possible love ones. So of course, when Ren entered her live (… and ours for that matter *swoon heavily*) she can’t really let him get close!
Ren, my ladies – is the perfect hero for Ivy! Even more kick ass and with a dangerous aura – but once you get close he’s not afraid to share his feelings and not afraid to love! This makes up for a quite interesting combination, with his dangerous bad-ass aura, but when he comes to Ivy he’s gentle like a kitty. (Hope Ren never reads that…. I’m sure he wouldn’t approve me comparing him to a kitty)
Wicked Awesome Romance !
The romance is – just as expected from Jennifer – oh so swoon worthy and awesome! There are hot and spicy scenes, that clearly mark this story as New Adult and the chemistry between Ren and Ivy is sizzling hot. Of course, not everything is shining sunshine, especially not with Ivys fear, but Ren is always there, calling her out and making her realize that her fear is making her missing out on something special they could develop!

Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout is simply put: awesometasitc! It has the perfect combination of a thrilling story that makes it a true page-turner, with incredibly kick-ass characters and finally filled with a sizzling hot romance! Do-Not-Miss-It!!!

Confession: I have not read an Armentrout novel. I have them, I just haven’t read them. This review makes me want to correct that mistake! Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve added Wicked toy wish list and will definitely be picking one of her books up from my TBR!
