Welcome to the Pre-Squee, a new weekly feature here at the Bookworms and at The Book Swarm. Some books, though they might not be coming out for a few months, need an early squee — we just can’t hold in our excitement about them! Sure, we’ll do full reviews closer to the release date but this feature gives us a chance to share a little bit of our love, whether it be for the story, cover, characters, or whatever. We’re quite flexible in our book love.
So today we Squee about

VELVET is the next book picked up to be published by the macmillan site “Swoon Reads” and…after they picked a Contemprary last time, they now pieced a paranormal!!! Squee!
and yes, it doesn’t even have a cover yet, but I was so thrilled when I heard that and even more thrilled when I read the synopsis and some comments, that I had to sure this with you so that we can be excited together!
After losing both her parents before age 17, aspiring designer Caitlin Holte doesn’t feel like moving, starting a new school, staying with her estranged aunt, or…living at all really. But after a terrifying encounter with a supernatural force, she learns that the world is a lot more complicated than she thought. Also, her hot bad-boy neighbor, Adrian (who might have just saved her life) is actually a half-demon vampire.
Suddenly Caitlin is stuck with a vampire bodyguard determined to protect her. And Adrian has decided the best way to do that is for the two of them to pretend to be dating. Trouble is, Caitlin is starting to fall in love for real, while Adrian can never love a human. And then there’s the supernatural threat that flung them together in the first place—Adrian’s demonic dad
VAMPIREs.. Yes I do love Vampires I always did and I always will!
Here is some praise that will definitely convince you!
“This steamy YA vamp romance leaves me wanting my own hunky vampire bodyguard.” –Daniel Nenadovic
“Fantastic. I loved the way the relationship between Caitlin and Adrian, and also between her and her family, were so carefully developed. I also loved the amount of humor and banter. Some bits had me laughing out loud! Brilliant and definitely worth 5 stars.” –Kate Priestly
“I could not. Stop. Reading. There better be a sequel! I loved the humor and the dialogue. Thumbs up!” –Raimy Faere
“This is just straight up good and steamy! The author has a great voice—fresh, fun and clearly talented. An excellent mix of hip and quirky with the right dash of romance! –T. S. Reeds

This sounds good and I want to read more paranormal books. I’ve been reading too many adult (all human lol) books so I need a change. I’ve added this to my TBR! Thanks for stopping by my blog =)
