Hi Ali, thank you so much for stopping by today. I know you’ve had a rough time, so sit back, take a tee and some cake and relax for a little bit…
Ali, your life has changed quite a bit. From a girl with nearly no friends and who stayed nearly all her life inside to a kick ass strong girl who goes out at night hunting Zombies. What do you hate and love most about these dramatic changes in your life?
Ali: I love that I’m free of my gilded cage, but I hate that I’m without my family. I love that I’m kicking evil’s butt and not bothering with names, but I hate that my friends are constantly in danger. My life now revolves around a war I never knew was being waged, and yet, I’m happier than I’ve ever been.
In “Through the Zombie Glass” Gena tells us all about the difficult and horrible time you had to go through. What advice would you give yourself now to your younger self?
Ali: I would say, “Don’t give up. Every storm has an end. And even better, pretty flowers will bloom and the sun will shine.”
… and what advice would you give Cole?
Ali: I would say, “When you meet the new girl at school, the blond who just lost her entire family, DON’T GIVE HER A HARD TIME! And then, when she tells you how she feels about you, BELIEVE HER!”
All problems aside, what do you love most about Cole?
Ali: His brutal sense of honesty. Seriously. Beware girls. If you ask him how fat you look in a pair of jeans, he will tell you. But I also love his smile. He doesn’t show it often, but oh, when he does…I melt.
In “Through the Zombie Glass” a few new people arrive, some of then truly annoying right? Just between you and me, tell us 3 things you hate most about Gavin and … tell us 3 things you like about him! ( I won’t tell him, I promise!! )
Ali: The three things that annoy me are also the three things I love. Gavin is persistent, and he has a warped sense of humor, and an ego that just won’t quit. A girl is never bored around him.
Thank you so much for your time Ali! Hope to see you back soon!

I would really need to know how to use a crossbow in order to survive In Zombieland.

I love reading character interviews. I feel like I can get to know the characters so much better that way.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first book, but I do intend to continue this series.
Thanks for sharing the fabulous interview, Danny! You asked some great questions. I must meet this Gavin and see if he annoys me or has the opposite effect on me 😉

If I could spend a day with Alice, I would love to train with her in defending myself against zombies and learning to kill them. Hey, I’m a novice. I got to start from somewhere.
Reply »
To survive Zombieland I would make friends who would have my back and teach me to fight.
Reply »
To survive I’d let Alice proably find a sword or a katana so that she can use it to protect herself. That’s one of the best way to survive.
Reply »
I’d need a hatchet.
Reply »
I’d ask for her help to train in any way that she knows or has learned in order to survive.
Reply »
To survive in Alice’s world, I would ally myself with Alice and make lots of friends. I would have to train hard to be a survivor with skills myself also. And if I had a day with Alice, I would probably like to ask her help in training to be able to survive the Zombielands.

I will learn how to run FAST!

Oh, and I think I want a big sword for protection. I’d better get to learning that, huh?
Reply »
I’d survive in Alice’s world by getting better at hiding.
Reply »
I’d need a crossbow, Twinkies, and some seriously kicka$$ people to kill zombies with me.
And if I were to spend a day with Alice, I’d first ask her to teach me the art of zombie killing and then I’d wanna go kill some more zombies! 😉
Thanks for an awesome giveaway!!!

I still haven’t read the first book in this series, which is very sad. As for how I’d survive in Alice’s world…from what I know of the classic book, probably very badly.
Reply »
I would love to hang out and go shopping.

FIGHT !
I would use any means necessary.

Anything she wanted to do, because she’s just way more knowledgeable than I am 😉

One word: knives. I would be loaded with them, throwing them, stabbing zombies through the eyes. I’ve seen enough of The Walking Dead to know how to kill a zombie.
Reply »
Would want to learn how to fight and survive her world. <3 (:
Reply »
i would fight.. i would also try to make weapons too!
Reply »
I would use a sword.
Reply »
I would not survive in Alice’s world. I would be dead in a matter of minutes if not seconds! Even if I had a weapon. Especially if I had a weapon as I would likely fall and stab myself in the neck! Maybe if I was super lucky, a cute guy could help me. I just hope a don’t accidently stab him in the neck!

By sticking close to Ali.

Thanks for sharing the fabulous interview with “Alice”, Danny! I’m so exited for this THROUGH THE ZOMBIE GLASS to come out. I had so much fun reading the first book and loved the unique take on soul eating Zombies and the romance between Ali and Cole. Thanks for sharing.

So excited to get this one. The White Rabbit find is such a cool idea. What a great post and giveaway!

If I got to spend a day with Alice, I would first jump around the room with excitement. Then after I calmed down, I would train with her and the rest of Cole’s gang. I’d also want to go kick some zombie butt!
Reply »
I think I’d do a swell job at surviving in Alice’s world by staying focused and determined. I know how to handle a few weapons and with a bit more training, I’d be a stellar fighter.
Reply »
I would first find Alice and have her help me train so that I become and expert with a crossbow and knives. Thanks for the giveaway!

To survive I would stick to Alice’s side and if I could spend a day with her I would as her to train me!
Reply »
From what I’ve heard about the book, I would either hide until I could escape that world or I would want to make sure I had or could find weapons I could use against all the zombies 🙂

Hopefully any survival skills I may have buried inside will come out.

I would fight some zombie butt with her 🙂

Lots of friends! And lots of ammo!

I think I would need a weapon and a small group of friends who know how to fight
Reply »
Oh gosh, all I can say is that I probably wouldn’t!
Reply »
find someone to help me
Reply »
I would definitely go to the countryside or have someplace with not a lot of walkers and definitely have a weapon, either a gun or a crossbow, something that doesnt make a lot of noise to attract attention. And definitely to find a group and get a bunch of supplies to survive..I watch too much Walking Dead!
Reply »
I would love to spend the day exploring with her!
Reply »
I am pretty sure I would do a lot of hiding until I found my way out again.
Reply »
I would have her teach me how to survive in Wonderland and see all the cool sites.
Reply »
I’d survive by running and using my vast knowledge about zombie killing I’ve gleaned from books and movies. And I’d find a way out!

By mostly fighting and running

If I could spend the day with Ali I think I would ask her to teach me to be a better fighter then after that we would go out somewhere and have the time of our life’s!

Reply »
Watch zombie movies… duh.
😉
Reply »
I would probably need a lot of strength, faith butt kicking skills. It would be awesome!
Reply »
Become a weapons expert…fighting, uh, I can get by, but seriously, if I don’t have back up, I want weapons and I better know how to use them!
Reply »
Lord I’d probably hide under my bed until someone dragged me out from under it. Then I’d just do whatever I was told. I am not a leader. I’m a follower. I’ve always said if there is a zombie apocalypse to make sure I am dead so I can’t return. I’d surround myself with a lot of people that knew what they were doing and copy what they did. And listen to my instincts. And probably not survive to book 3 🙂
Reply »
I’d join a team of hunters so that we can work together hunting the zombies and keeping safe! Thanks!
Reply »
I have no earthly idea… I think it would all depend on what I ran into. And WHO!
Reply »
I’d survive with lots and lots of training. What would I want to do with Alice? Kick some zombie ass!
Reply »
I would train a lot, particularly with Cole. xD
