Super Six Favorite Book Covers of 2013
I’m usually not one to gush about book covers. If a book has a cover that is less than desirable, I’ll still read the book if the blurb is interesting enough. But I have read books this year that have had some breathtaking, absolutely gorgeous covers. Sometimes the covers give a hint about what the pages inside hold with their beautiful imagery, and sometimes their fierceness is implied by the haunting image like with the cover for The Fury.
Click the book cover to go to the Goodreads page for each title.
So these were my Super Six Favorite Book Covers of 2013. I can’t wait to see the gorgeousness that you’ve read this year!

Without a Summer is book three in a series, and the books are amazing. If you might like “Jane Austen with magic,” then you will probably enjoy these books. I’m not a big fan of Jane Austen myself, but I’ve highly enjoyed this series by Mary Robinette Kowal. This is another cover that really gives such an accurate picture of how I picture Jane’s sister and her beau. Beautiful!

Love the covers – especially for Fury. It’s quite creepy – but I love that 🙂

The cover for the Fury is by far the most creepy and sinister one for a book that I’ve read this year, and it totally fits the book. I love it too, Tanya!

The Icons cover really gives you a sense of what the book is about when you look closely. The Fury’s cover certainly sets the atmosphere for the book, and it’s amazingly creepy, frightening, and brilliant!

Crash Into You is such a great one. Have to agree with you on that one. Fury is super scary, not sure how long I would be able to look at that one. Haven’t heard of the book but I love the Without a Summer Cover. Beautiful! Great choices!

LOL, Sharrice! The Fury is 700 pages long so I was looking at that cover for a while when I was lugging that monster of a book with me on the train to work and back, but I didn’t mind one bit because it was one of my favorite books that I’ve read this year.
If you might like a book that is “Jane Austen with magic,” then you’ll probably like the series Without a Summer is book number three in. Very excellent series with stunningly beautiful covers!

Crash Into You has such a pretty cover! I can’t believe I forgot to include it in my own list. It is my favorite out of the series so far. Fury is creeping em out, which means that the cover artists did a really great job.
