High school romance is tough—even for a bona fide love goddess. Can Cupid succeed as a mortal matchmaker?
When Eros (aka Cupid) is expelled from Olympus for defying Zeus after falling in love with Orion, she is banished to what she believes to be hell.We call it New Jersey. If she ever wants to go back to the comforts of her old life, she will have to find love for three couples—without using her powers.
Eros, now calling herself True, immediately identifies her first project in Charlie and believes finding him love will be a piece of cake. Charlie is new at school and eager to break out of his old image of band geek, so it’s lucky for him when he falls in with the right crowd on his first day. But music is still his passion. That is, until he meets Katrina... Katrina is floundering after the death of her father and takes refuge with a boy who, while not entirely supportive, will be there when she needs him, unlike her mother. Too bad True thinks any girl Charlie talks to is perfect for him.
Can she get out of her own way and help Charlie and Katrina connect, or will she be stuck in New Jersey forever?
I have a soft spot for Greek Mythology and Only Everything just sounded too cute to pass on!
Part Contemporary Romance, Part paranormal Greek mythology
This book has something for everyone. It’s part contemporary romance, with all the usual teen issues and problems that add depth to the book and it’s part greek mythology with old Gods and paranormal powers. I love these mixes as it will easily appeal to many readers without one genre being too overwhelming. It just perfectly mixes both genres. The main setting is a High School but we always get some glimpse into the world of the gods that usually just look upon us mortals. But when Eros aka Cupid aka True (her name she uses in school!) is send to earth to do bring couples together without her power both world mingle in an enchantingly cute way!
Eros aka Cupid aka True – unwillingly hilarious!
Cupid is the daughter of Aprodithe and usually brings soul mates together by looking into their souls and see what they desire and who would be a perfect fit. When she falls for a moral (not saying who!!) , which is forbidden she is send to earth by Zeus to bring soul mates together without her powers.  She chooses the name True when she attends Highschool and …. is absolutely lost without her powers. But, it takes her some time to truly admit it! Her overly confident attitude might come off arrogant, often is more hilarious than true arrogance, and I found it more endearing than annoying! I absolutely loved True who slowly learns what mortals truly want and that there is more to love than simply having the same hobby. Also, since True never spend time among mortals she has no clue how to dress and act and it was often hilarious!
Now bring these two shy troubles Teens together! Go True!
The two main characters in this book are Charlie and Katarina, both endearingly shy teens who are struggling with their own issues! Charlie having to compete with his sporty brothers and Football coach as a dad, but Charlie prefers music over sport any way! So instead of being the popular boy like his brothers, he’s the music geek and new at school. Katarina has a truly bad life since her dad just recently died and instead of grieving together with her mother, the mother seems to abandon Katarina. It’s a truly sad story! But.. True is helping them to get together even though they are both shy and insecure.
It takes True some time to see that these two are a true match and there are some funny moments along the way when True tries to match Charlie with other girls!
Bewitched Rating
Bottom Line
Only Everything by Kieran Scott offers a wonderful mix of contemporary teen romance with greek mythology and paranormal powers. True is a wonderfully  strong heroine, who is often unwilling hilarious. The romance is cute and endearing and the mix just worked perfectly for me!
I can’t wait for True’s next “victims” – meaning the next Teens she’s going to try and pair them up, as she still has 2 more couples to bring together before she’s allowed back!

Sounds like this is a fun book. I haven’t been in the mood for paranormal lately, for the most part, but I think if I go into one with the right attitude, I’d really enjoy it. I hope Charlie ends up owing being a music geek. They’re the coolest.

DANNY!!!! How did this book slip past me? I LOVE anything Greek mythology related, so I have no idea why this one wasn’t on my radar. Radar fail. I’m adding this to my list immediately – cute romance, a strong, funny heroine and Greek mythology? MUST HAVE!

I always enjoy when a god/royal/star has to learn how to live a “normal” life that everyone else in the world has to live. It sounds cute and sweet and right up my alley!
