The Bookworms Turn 1!

It’s true!

Today’s the day, one whole year ago,
that we posted our very first post here at Bewitched Bookworms,
introducing ourselves and giddily jumping
into the exciting world of book blogging!

And what a year it’s been!

We’ve fallen in love with so many books!!!!
We’ve reviewed almost 200 books!
And were introduced to books we didn’t even know we’d love
by authors who generously offered up their books for review
and publishers who decided
to send us books they suspected we might enjoy.
We’re truly humbled every time we’re given that chance
and so very thankful for all the wonderful stories
it’s afforded us to find!

We’ve met so many wonderful authors!
Two of us are lucky enough to live (sort of) nearby
a great Indie Bookshop, Anderson’s, that hosts dozens of
Author Readings and Signings a month
and we’ve definitely taken advantage of it
meeting everyone from
Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia to Scott Westerfeld
and a host of lovely, fantastic writers in between.

We’ve met SO MANY amazing book bloggers and book lovers!!!
On Goodreads, on other book blogs, through hops
and memes and challenges of all shapes and sizes.
There’s something so gratifying about meeting like-minded folks
who love nothing more than to lose themselves in a grand tale
that just warms the cockles of our hearts.
And our cockles are very warm right now, just sayin’!

We’ve had several epic contests
not to mention the over 15 give-aways.
We are girls who love to celebrate and
we love,
love,
LOVE
a give-away!

And so we think you know what this 1 year milestone means…..

Nothing says

like an
uber exciting
uber fun

We’re currently in the process of pulling it all together
so check back later this month for all the details but know this:

It will be fun.
It will be crazy.
It will be book-a-licous.
You will adore it!

That’s it for now.

We’re off to go crash in a birthday cake fueled abandon.

But before we go we just want to say again,

We adore each and every one of you who read our blog
and share our nutty love of books with us!
