Hope you enjoy The Ice Princess! I read it a couple of years ago when I was on a big Scandinavian crime binge – definitely one for a chilly night!

I most definitely am enjoying the piles of awesome YA contemporaries! There are some really fun ones. And I’m so jealous of SEIGE AND STORM — I’ve begged for it and went ahead and pre-ordered it. OH WA-YA-TING IS THE HARDEST PART! *she caterwauls*

Sort of off topic, but you had me thinking about your audio purchases. Buying audio books don’t work for me. I’m such an easily distracted type of person and I’d probably only end up listening to 25% of the novel if I’m lucky.
I hate listening to the audio at work when students’ read. I seriously don’t understand how some students read better with it. (Okay, I get why lower level readers prefer it, but still.) It just distracts me to no end.

I’m very curious what you’ll think about “The WInter Sea”. I was looking at that this morning and trying to figure out if I wanted to read it or not.

I finished Siege & Storm recently and I think it might just be my first 5 star rating of the year. The Ice Princess sounds brilliant too! I don’t think I’ve ever come across that one before. It has a gorgeous cover. 🙂
Enjoy your new books!

Hi Pushy, and Danny! You got a lot of nice little goodies! I have a question for you guys. How do you get publishers to send you books, swag, and book-related things? I have a new blog, and so I’m still learning things. Also, do you post a wish list somewhere?
Thanks, Lindy@ A Bookish Escape
