5. Fever Series

Fever Series  – It’s been a while I talked about the epicene of the Fever Series, but I’m never getting tired to tell everyone who wants (or does not want) to hear about the pure wonderment of this series! Even more, the audiobooks are just pure epic! Starting with book 3 a duo is narrating this series where she reads and narrates all female voices and Phil Gigante is narrating all male voices. Like this, you have a real dialogue with completely different voices that are just incredible! And, the same duo is also narrating Karen’s new Series started with ICED which of course I also got as an audiobook!

  1. I still need to try the Iron Druid Chronicles. I keep hearing such great things.

    My list would include:
    Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
    Charley Davidson by Darynda Jones
    The Hollows by Kim Harrison
    The Others by Anne Bishop
    Downside Ghosts by Stacia Kane
Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong

New one is Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. Only one book out. So far so good.

Audiobooks have become my new obsession over the past year. It’s gotten to the point where I am listening to twice as many audiobooks than physical books I read. So far some of my favorite Urban Fantasy series on audio a are:
Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Fever series by Karen Marie Moning
Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost
Demonica/Lords of Deliverance by Larissa Ione
    Downside Ghosts by Stacia Kane
I have few more that I’m hooked on and am looking forward to checking out your other picks.

  3. Absolutely love the Iron Druid Chronicles! Luke Daniels does an amazing job. I tried the first Charlie Davidson book, but it didn’t click for me. I really enjoy this series by Jim Bernheimer called Dead Eye – kind of a detective novel where this war vet can see the dead and interact with them.

Have you tried Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files? Love them and was so happy when I found the Iron Druid books which are similar.
