*waves* Hi Girls!
And? how is it going with reading from Dusk Till Dawn?

I have to say I sucked a bit, yesterday I fell asleep on my couch – I guess it was the Red Wines fault… Anyway I finally managed to finish Mockingjay!!! Which means I read 400 pages – still it seems so little!

Anyway, It’s all about fun and fun I have! Plus I took my time to participate in some really cool challenges. One was from Missie and she wanted us to recreate the Mockingjay cover, and this is my attempt.
Like it?
But let’s jump to my Mini-Challenge and it has to do something with Wings… First let me show you the prize you will get:

You likey? I find it most beautiful!!!!

It’s an Angel Wings necklace inspired by The Infernal device. ( I can’t freaking wait for this book)I got it at this wonderful shop from Heather who does the coolest stuff ever, love to look at her work – and I love shiny sparkling stuff!!!

Black Background Small
So since you can win a Angels Necklace here is my Challenge:
Who is your favorite Angel character in books???

Please leave a comment with the book and the
name of the character and please tell me also why!

I love reading Angel stories and my favorite is most definitely Patch from hush, hush. I love that he’s not easy to figure out : good boy – bad boy? But in the end all the reasons behind his action are driven by a heartbreaking reason and this made me love him even more. Plus, let’s face it – he’s incredible sexy!!!

So now it’s your turn! Tell me in the comments who is your favorite Angel and why! Maybe there are some Book recommendations for me! Would love to read more Angel stories!

Contest is open for people participating in
Book Crazy’s Read-A-Thon and open until the 30th of August!

Now, have fun and lot’s of reading!!

  1. It's not a YA book but in my top 3 fave books of all time is an adult fantasy called Archangel by Sharon Shinn. It's about angels who God appoints as government. The next in line to rule and be Archangel is Gabriel, and I love him. LOVE. He's grumpy, pig-headed, and rude. But as the story continues and he falls in love he's charming, kind, and gentle. It's so cute, and so romantic. And…sigh…it makes me want to read it again just talking about him!

  2. I haven't read read a lot of angel books, in fact I think I've only read and that'd be Hush Hush. Although I'm looking forward to Personal Demons that has an angel named Gabe in it.

Since I have only read Hush Hush my favorite angel character is Patch, although I do like his friend Rixon (I love his accent).
Back to Patch now. I love Patch because he's a fallen angel bad boy that says the darnedest things. Plus he's very sexy.

  3. I have to go with Mathias from Heavenly by Jennifer Laurens as well, he's so incredibly kind and sweet, just as angel should be =)
As for other angel stories, one of my favorites is the graphic novel Murder Mysteries by Neil Gaiman…

Aggh, I was going to choose Patch! But, since you did, I'm going to think of another one…Okay. I'll choose a female angel named Dulcie from Libba Bray's Going Bovine. Dulcie is cool and spunky and keeps the adventure going in this book. She's smart and a bit flippant, which I like in a girl character.

    Thanks for asking!

  5. As for a hunky fallen angel, Patch fits the bill. But I do want to tell you about Angelology by Danielle Trussoni. I can’t reveal who the nephilim will be, but the story is packed with Angels and it’s soooooo well written. By far, my favorite angel story.

  6. Patch would definitely be my YA choice, as seems to be the general consensus. I also enjoy Raphael from Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series, its an adult series, but he is to die for if you like a little paranormal romance every now and then!

  7. I cannot think of a book with an angel in it that I have already read! I would have to pick Claudine from the Sookie Stackhouse books. She is technically a fairy, but she acts as a guardian angel of sorts for Sookie, so I hope that can count! Thanks 🙂

If that doesn't count, I pick Tessa's clockwork angel from Clockwork Angel! I can't really explain why without spoiling things, so I'll just leave it at that 🙂

My favorite angel would have to be Patch as well…he challenges so many of the stereotypes we have about Angels that he creates such a wonderful shroud of mystery around his character. Dark, hot, brooding and yet there to protect you….sounds perfect to me!

  10. Oh my! That is a hard question! I absolutley LOVE books on Angels!
I think my favorite would have to be Gabriel from Halo by Alexandra Adornetto! Although he is not the main character (he's her brother) he is my favorite!

  11. I'm not real sure who my favorite Angel is, it's hard to think of the angels I know other then Patch. I do have Halo coming soon and I'm excited to read it. Ummm… Okay, I'm going to go with Daniel from Fallen. I can't help but feel bad for him because he falls in love over and over but never gets to keep her. He's a little hard to like at first but I couldn't help but find myself being attracted to him. And he really seems like he'll do anything for Luce and to save her life.
