There are not many books that completely blow me away and that stay with me for such a long time after finishing. You know, these books hat you can’t stop thinking about and that you wish you could read all over again for the first time to experience all you felt while reading? Maybe Someday is such a book, and now more than a month later I still tear up thinking about it and still get my heart beating faster thinking about Ridge and Sydney!
This story is so special, so touching and moving and made me feel so much!
This is a story about love and how much you can make yourself to love someone when you heart is elsewhere. As much as you want your heart not to fall for someone, usually the heart never listens and falls anyway, no matter how hard you fight.
I guess that this is a story not everyone will love because of the sole fact that Ridge is in a very loving relationship when he gets to know Sidney. And Maybe Someday is NOT a classic cheating story, on the contrary – one part that made this book so special were the incredible emotions and not the physical love. Ridge tries to fight for his relationship even though a connection between him and Sidney is so undeniable and strong, but this was also one part I adored so much about Ridge – he’s a genuinely good and wonderful guy.
But then again – what if your heart wants otherwise? I could love Ridge alone for the fact that he fought so hard not to love Sidney and stay with Marie, because he thought that was the right thing to do.
Oh be still my heart!
Music plays a huge part in Maybe Someday as it’s music what brings Ridge and Sydney together in the first place. But then, it’s the way Ridge and Sydney experience creating music together that was so incredible touching that I’m still tearing up! When they write together all feelings and all these suppressed and bottled emotions heat up and they can’t do a single thing about it. This is when they feel their true and undeniable connection. Ridge always wants to feel Sydney signing and he touches her throat and lies his head on her ear – holy mother of hotness these scenes were so incredible intense!!
I cried so so many times and I turned page and page and page and could not stop reading, and I could not stop thinking about this story it completely captured me! I have no idea why it took me so long to read even though I know how much I love Colleen Hoovers books..

Bottom Line
Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover was incredible! Filled with so many emotions and scenes so touching and moving that I doubt that many eyes will be able to stay dry. Ridge is such a wonderful boy – but who can fight what your heart wants even if you head tells you otherwise? I can’t praise this book enough!

I usually hate “cheating” in a book. But this book, this bashed away cheating and created an emotional rollercoaster! All the characters are wise and compassionate. I love how they resolve the problem. It’s a very refreshing yet deep and emotional book.
Fantastic review!
PS: I cried too. It’s so unfair, Colleen Hoover. Why you this to us? 😀

I recently read Hopeless which combined some of the sexiest scenes ever with some of the most cringe-worthy abuse. It made the book hard for me, but anyone who can write smoldering hot scenes like that has my vote for an awesome author!

I love how impassioned you are about this book! I fear it isn’t for me but yay for books that give you all the feels and then some.

I received this one for a gift. I already wanted to get to it soon but I’m thinking I need to move this up and get to it sooner rather than later. I’m not sure what kind of reaction I’ll have to the relationship with a third party but not really part but I’m willing to give it a go. 🙂
