Touched
by Cyn Balog
Expected publication: August 14th 2012 by Delacorte Press
OoOOo Awesome!!Â
Nick Cross always listens to the voice in his head. Because if he doesn’t? Things can go really, really wrong. Like the day he decided to go off script and saved a girl from being run over . . . and let another one drown. Trying to change the future doesn’t work.
But this summer at the Jersey Shore, something’s about to happen that Nick never could have predicted. He meets a girl named Taryn and finds out about the Book of Touch. Now the path that he thought he was on begins to shift . . . and there’s no way to stop things from happening. Or is there?
In a life where there are no surprises, nothing has prepared Nick for what he’s about to discover–or the choice he will be forced to make. . .
The cover is mesmerizing!!! The combination of colors, swirls is both beautiful, creepy and mysterious! This cover is definitely one of those that make me want to read a book. Plus, not only the cover is mysterious but also the synopsis! Plus, I see a Guy’s POV?!?! Â I love reading books from a Boys POV! Â Yes I definitely want to read this one!Â
So, now tell me what you are waiting for!!
Much Love,

This is one of my favorite covers coming out this year—so gorgeous with the swirls and the mysterious carnival looming in the background. Love it. I've only read one other book by Cyn Balog (Sleepless), and I really enjoyed it!

Yes! I featured this a few weeks back! I saw it and thought I've never seen such a beautiful cover, but then someone said that it looks a lot like the Warm Bodies cover. What do you think? All I know is I can't wait to get it!! I've never read anything by her but I can't wait to read it! And I love the male POV, too.

Actually my friend, it was on your blog where I saw it first! And really the warm bodies cover? No not at all!!! really – different colors and .. well everything else is different too! The only thing they have in common is the smoke/swirls.
Just like you I do love male POV's! Can't wait!

The cover is absolutely GORGEOUS !!! I'd definitely buy this one without reading the blurb … 🙂
But it also sounds very good .. I don't read a lot of books written in a guy POV so this one could totally break my reading routine ! ! Great pick Danny !!

*giggles* you are just like me Elodie! I also tempt to read books just because I love the cover!! But, I'm also the other way around.. if the cover does not appeal to me, I'm less tempted to get the book.
There are just so few Male POV's but I really love them! Like, Beautiful Creatures and lately, Tempest. I just love getting into the head of a boy instead of always girls just like us…

I definitely want to read it and yep – that cover is great. It's nice to get some male POV's in my reading now and again – never enough of those!

I have my eye on this because it's from a guy's POV as well. I'm trying to read more books from that POV this year. Great choice!
