synopsis from goodreads:
What if every day when you woke up, you had no recollection of the days before?

Each night at precisely 4:33 am, while sixteen-year-old London Lane is asleep, her memory of that day is erased. In the morning, all she can “remember” are events from her future. London is used to relying on reminder notes and a trusted friend to get through the day, but things get complicated when a new boy at school enters the picture. Luke Henry is not someone you’d easily forget, but try as she might, London can’t find him in her memories of things to come.

When London starts experiencing disturbing flashbacks, or flash-forwards, as the case may be, she realizes it’s time to learn about the past she keeps forgetting – before it destroys her future.

a Danny & cutie review
Danny: That was truly a great book and a very unique and fantastic idea!
cutie: I completely agree! Forgotten is a wonderful page turn about a young woman dealing with memory lose… a very strange and unique memory lose.
For most of her life, London Lane has been hiding an unfathomable problem: She can remember her future, yet she cannot remember her past. Each and every night, her brain rests at 4 o’clock without fail every morning come rain or shine. In order to remember things, London Lane keeps notes. Notes about what she’s worn that week. Notes about homework assignments. Notes to bring fresh gym shirts. Notes about the fight she is in with her best friend. Notes about her boyfriend- an incredible, sweet, gorgeous boy that she just can’t see in her future. But most haunting, notes about a strange, scary vision of the future that she can’t figure out.
Danny: How can she go to school? Well, she writes notes of her day for her to read in the morning and catch up and to make sure she doesn’t forget thinks like bringing a T-shirt for PE. Also she has a best friend Jamie who knows about her special condition and helps her wherever she can.

But, when she meets Luke this super gorgeous boy that is also very nice and seems interested in her steps into her life she can’t “remember” him from her future, which is very very strange.

cutie: And a sadness, cause Luke be a oh.so.very sweet hottie! *fans self*
Danny: I love how London handles her condition and I especially love her friendship with Jamie! She always stays true to this friendship even though Jamie is a real bitch and hurts her deeply. But she so deeply believes in her that she stays with her, all the time!

cutie: I too enjoyed London’s patients with her bff. It was great to read a ya story with a protagonist dealing with friendship drama in a somewhat mature fashion.
Danny: Then there is Luke!! Oh my girls!!! He’s the perfect boyfriend. If you love Jay from “The Body Finder” you will love Luke as well. He’s hot, sweet, sexy and so very in love with London!!
cutie: Comparing Luke to Jay is perfect! I can add nothing to this save: I want him in my pocket STAT!!! (errr… why am I always putting fictional male characters in my pocket like it is the greatest honor? Hm… much tell shrink about this next week. *winks*)

Danny: The love and the romance in Forgotten is beautiful! Imagine to fall in love with the same boy over and over again, experience the same kiss every day anew? While the story evolves you keep trying to figure out why she can’t remember Luke, although he clearly is in her future. There are other side plots like London searching for her Grandma and her father and in the end you will be very surprised about the turn the story takes. There is a mystery element that I haven’t foreseen but was the more captivating!
cutie: This mystery keep me enthralled with the story. Trying to figure out what London was “remember” was just made me want to turn the pages faster. I was literally reading this novel whilst cooking dinner. And the falling in love thing just keep my heart pounding, each moment between Luke and London was just so fresh and new.

Final thoughts!
Danny’s final thoughts:  Forgotten is a wonderful book, about love, friendship, trust and family and together with the mystery makes a very round and captivating story!
cutie’s final thoughts: Written effortlessly, Forgotten’s plot twists and turns leaving the reader on edge. I just couldn’t put this book down. And at no point did I try to pick apart the plot or try to over analysis London’s mental issues, I just embraced it all- willingly, effortlessly, eagerly.
Danny gave Forgotten a 4 out of 5
