TGIF!!! Which of course means that it’s time for the BlogHop and the Follow Friday and a review of we did this week!

She is so wonderful for hosting this event every week! Thanks so much Jen for all your work!!! This week Tina from Book Couture asks:

How do you spread the word about your blog?
(e.g. Social Networking sites,
Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs…)

I wish Danny were answering this question because she is our marketing maven!!! We do it all! There are five of us, which helps spread the load, but we tweet, we have a Facebook page, we do memes, we are part of a book blog directory and we follow other bloggers. We also find that a few well timed contests will REALLY bring in the followers, although I would caution that give-aways only work if your blog has good content to offer.

Ones that you can’t just read once,
but read over and over again?

Well, I have read several books like that
and that is how I got my name for my blog.

Savannah, I SO hear you on this. Unlike many of my friends when I fall in love with a book, I’m happy to read it over and over and over again.

As a teen I did a yearly re-reading of every Stephen King book in my local library. Every time a Harry Potter movie comes out (WOOT for movie #7 coming out in a few short weeks!!!) I reread the series. And Twilight?? Well, let’s just say that I had to read that series a couple of times with in the first month that I got it because it bit me so hard.

Right now though, I’m rereading Beautiful Creatures in anticipation for Beautiful Darkness’s release in 11 FREAKING DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heather launched a new feature here on Bewitched Bookworms, Heather Finally Reads with her review of the entire available Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. It’s an EPIC review so check it out and don’t forget to leave a comment with YOUR suggestion with what Heather should FINALLY read next.

Heather reviewed the super creepy and scary (to my mind) The Red Church by Scott Nicholson. She gave it a big 5 books (which is kind of a big deal if you know Heather), and although she says it didn’t scare her I guarantee it would have scared me!

Scott Nicholson himself showed up the very next day with his 90 days of Nightmares Blog Tour. He wrote an fascinating post about Indie publishing and e-books, a must read for anyone interested in e-books, and that’s not all. Scott Nicholson is giving away not one, not two but (if his e-book, The Red Church, hits the top 100) THREE KINDLES!!! You have to check it out!!!

Cutie introduced me (and I suspect a few of you) to the genre of Steampunk in this week’s “Waiting on” Wednesday post in which she’s waiting for Scott Westerfeld‘s Behemoth.

We surpassed the 500 followers mark this week and launched an EPIC contest in order to celebrate! You must, must, must enter this puppy! We’re giving away 3 signed books, 1 signed excerpt/artwork, Bookthingy bags, bookmarks, necklaces and a PONY! Ok, not a pony, but seriously, the contest is HUGE!!!

Speaking of contests, we announced the winners of our hush, hush contest! Congratulations, again, to Danielle and Savannah!!

Heather was back for her third review of the week (this girl was ON FIRE) with her thoughts on The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Seance for a Vampire by Fred Saberhagen, a great mystery with a supernatural twist.
