This is one of those books I wouldn’t have picked if not for the various lovely Book Bloggers or all the awesome reviews on goodreads. I don’t even know why but the synopsis didn’t appeal me …

Seriously, this book surprised me because I loved it deeply and I had tons of fun while reading it. It’s refreshing, it’s funny, it’s lovely, it has romance, mystery, a moving plot and two main characters that you just need to love!

Evie works for something like the “Men in Black” that keeps track on all the supernatural creatures, they track them and then “label” them. Evie also is special since she’s the only one that can look through supernatural glamour, this makes her invaluable! She’s only 16 ( or was she 15?!) but she can kick ass! She has a Teaser that is pink ( YES pink!!) and she calls “her” Teasy this alone cracked me up! When she started to train with a knife the only way to convince her to use it was when her teacher gave her a pink knife. It’s hilarious but so sweet!!
Although fighting supernaturals on a regular basis she’s just a girl that also wants to be just a girl from time to time. She has no family, her best friend is a Mermaid that is sitting in a big Aquarium. TO bring it to the point he’s lonely!

All this changes when a mysterious creature is captured and looked up in the Institute.“It” is indeed a boy in her age that is one of it’s kind but nobody has a clue who and what he is. They only know that he can make himself look like anyone, which is creepy when you look at him and see yourself standing and talking there. This is Lend and Evie is intrigued by him form the very fist minute. She’s the only one that can see his true self.
Suspense, Mystery, Drama , Laughter and Romance
The Plot is super light hearted and I found myself smiling so often. The storyline itself it totally intriguing and fast developing that let’s you turn the pages in no time. Some secrets are solved – others stay hidden. All the Characters are wonderful and we follow Evie on her journey where she has to grow up and face a secret about herself that will scatter her life forever!

I can highly recommend this book to anyone who love to read a fun mystery and fantasy filled Novel!I adore this book and I’m glad I listened to all the reviews that praised this book! Check it out, it is definitely a wonderful book
