Pushy

How did I even wind up with the name Pushy when I’m really such a sweet girl?
Long story, but suffice it to say for the most part
I’m more enthusiastic than overbearing.
*wink*

So, a little about me…

My favorite books are almost all fiction.

I love a good story,
the kind that whisks me out of my own life
and brings me to a world where I can lose myself for a while.

I love YA, horror, mysteries, historical fiction
and romance (oh, how I LOVE romance)
especially historical romance…
especially (here’s where I USED to cringe) Regency Era historical romance.

I participate in NaNoWriMo every year,
even though it means I have to wake up at the obscene hour of
5 am to get any writing done!
(as an aside, this is why I will never publish a book:
because I may be able to sacrifice sleep to write, but never to edit!)

I have found that I adore reviewing books.
I love being introduced to authors, books and genres
that I might have passed up before.

I love getting to interact with authors about their books,
especially when I find that I love their characters at least as much
if not more than they do!

And I love hearing that my opinion on a book has swayed someone else to pick it up.
That just warms the cockles of my little, foxy heart!
