Unremembered by Jessica Brody on goodreads:

The only thing worse than forgetting her past… is remembering it.

When Freedom Airlines flight 121 went down over the Pacific Ocean, no one ever expected to find survivors. Which is why the sixteen-year-old girl discovered floating among the wreckage—alive—is making headlines across the globe.

Even more strange is that her body is miraculously unharmed and she has no memories of boarding the plane. She has no memories of her life before the crash. She has no memories period. No one knows how she survived. No one knows why she wasn’t on the passenger manifest. And no one can explain why her DNA and fingerprints can’t be found in a single database in the world.

Crippled by a world she doesn’t know, plagued by abilities she doesn’t understand, and haunted by a looming threat she can’t remember, Seraphina struggles to piece together her forgotten past and discover who she really is. But with every clue only comes more questions. And she’s running out of time to answer them.

Her only hope is a strangely alluring boy who claims to know her from before the crash. Who claims they were in love. But can she really trust him? And will he be able to protect her from the people who have been making her forget?

From popular young adult author, Jessica Brody comes a mesmerizing and suspenseful new series, set in a world where science knows no boundaries, memories are manipulated, and true love can never be forgotten.

Let’s face it. All the books we open or request or start reading are books we are interested it, right? But, you know it yourself, some books just surprise you by how much you love them…

Unremembered

Lost Memories and lots of Mysteries

Violet lost her memories! Even more, she seems to have no idea about the world we live in. She’s alone. No one claims her as their lost child, so she is taken in by a wonderful heartwarming family who want to help her bring back her memories. But, it’s not just the lost memories  there are so many mysteries surrounding Seraphina that it was nearly impossible for me to put the book down!

Each page brought on a tiny revelation only to have more mysteries to uncover! Starting with the first page, this book drew me in. I was fascinated  by Seraphina and needed to figure her out!

Mysterious Boys and … more Mysteries…

(seriously, go and count how many times I’ll use the word mystery). Even though Seraphina seems to be utterly alone, there is one boy  who claims to know her. Zen was an amazing character! Full of strength, warmth and his desperate will to rescue Seraphina. He doesn’t stop and would do anything to find his way back to Seraphina. And just as it is the tone of the whole story – also Zen has so many mysterious we all desperately wanted to resolve!

Heart melting Moments – Thrilling Twists!

This story had a lot of heart. Something I always love. I need stories that are able to touch me and Unremembered totally did! The whole relationship between Seraphine and Zen was touching, romantic and wonderful. Then, on the other side the story was full of mysteries (there… again) which kept me glued to the pages. The twists made me gasp and most of them I didn’t see coming! The story totally sucked me in and didn’t leave me until I was done!

  1. Oh wow this sounds so interesting! Especially with the mystery and twists, love those type of books and didn’t expect it to be sci-fi, so looking forward to see how they put sci-fi into this whole story. Definitely putting this in my TBR, thanks for the great review 😀
