Welcome to the Pre-Squee, a weekly feature here at the Bookworms and at The Book Swarm. Some books, though they might not be coming out for a few months, need an early squee — we just can’t hold in our excitement about them! Sure, we’ll do full reviews closer to the release date but this feature gives us a chance to share a little bit of our love, whether it be for the story, cover, characters, or whatever. We’re quite flexible in our book love.
So today we Squee about
Marry Me At Christmas

September 29, 2015 by HQN Books
To bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug, organizing a Christmas wedding sounds like a joy—until she finds out she’ll be working closely with the gorgeous brother of the bride, movie star Jonny Blaze. How will a small-town girl like her keep from falling for the world’s sexiest guy? Especially with mistletoe lurking around every corner!
Jonny came to Fool’s Gold looking for normal, not for love. Happily-ever-after only happens in the movies. Still, nothing about this quirky town is quite what he expected, and “ordinary” Madeline is the most extraordinary woman he’s ever met. Refreshingly honest, disarmingly sweet. Achingly beautiful.
Planning the perfect wedding leads to candlelit dinners and strolls through snow-covered streets. And Madeline finds Jonny in real life even more captivating than her celebrity crush. But will the action star be brave enough to risk his heart and step into the role of a lifetime?
Ever since I read two of Susan Mallery’s books this year, I’ve fallen right in love with her writing and characters. Her Fool’s Gold series can be read as stand alones and is still going strong at 19 books and a few novellas and counting. After hearing so much about this mysterious celebrity Jonny Blaze in the last book Thrill Me, I can’t wait to read about him first hand and interacting with the boisterous Maddie!
Have you read anything by Susan Mallery? What upcoming holiday books are you excited for?
