I admit, I also love the Young and Beautiful of Hollywood. I’m always happy over a new hot couple in Hollywood and yes I was also quite excited when Daemon and Elena were also in love in real life. So, when I read the synopsis  from Famous in Love it combined my passion for stories with my love for a good love story!
Beautiful Setting
…. and with setting I mean not only the location but also the whole set-up of the story. Located is most of the story is Hawaii, which always brings on my holiday and Fernweh feeling. I love these islands, so it was wonderful to picture all the places they were “filming” the movie.
And the movie “setting” is the next thing I enjoyed! I always always love movie star themed books!! Like the Cinderella story set in Hollywood. In our case Cinderella is Paige, a small town girl in love with acting, and when she gets the role for a big YA Paranormal story she suddenly is thrown into this new world of actors, famous people and hollywood!
Seriously guys, it’s like any of our most beloved YA Paranormal stories is coming to live and we follow the actors fall also in love for real! YEAH!
Love Triangles – No, don’t go!:)
It’s been clear from the early beginning when reading the synopsis that this book will have a big Love triangle. So I was prepared and anyone else too! Honestly, when I know this beforehand I can deal with Love Triangles! Also, it was so nicely played here even though the boys were both so quite stereotypes! The “Good Boy” and the “Bad Boy with the mysterious past” – and yes, I fall for this cliché every time! Rainer and Jordan are both Young Hollywood Actors that have been friends once, now they have to play the two love interests of Paige .. and OF COURSE they both fall for he:)
Passion of the Author, you can feel it in every page!
Of course Authors are always passionate about their books, yet here I feel it’s even a little different! Rebecca Serle is famous for her love for the Young Beautiful in Hollywood, she loves to blog about The Vampire Diaries and other  Love Triangles we all love and hate so much! And I felt her passion in her book, I knew this story was something she really wanted to write and this makes me even more excited about the story!

In short,  Famous in Love is a cute love story that completely entertained me while reading. Paige was a cute girl who experiences something so many others dream of! It was easy to relate to her and also to her feelings. This is a story for everyone who loves a good romance with kissing and a beautiful setting. Just be prepared for a quite complicated Love Triangle, but expect an surprising ending! Well, at least I was quite surprised and didn’t see this coming!

Ekk…lots of spam today. I hate when that happens. I’m almost done with this book. Really enjoying it so far. I don’t hate love triangles but don’t love them either. I think they can be done well. This book isn’t anything new, but it’s a lot of fun, which is what I wanted out of it.

Love triangles can go both ways for me. I think there are some good and some bad. And for it to work for me, both guys should be so good that I could fall in love with both of them like the main character. I want to feel confused about who to choose too. So I think it would take some good character development. I’ve heard about this author before but I haven’t tried any of her books. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up one soon. Great review. 😀
