I’m not sure if I told you already how extremely excited I am about this new book from Heather Demetrios: Exquisite Captive

I love love love this book so so much! It’s one of these books that simply grab you and do not let you go! I feel in love with Nalia and all the characters and the story so hard, it’s not even funny!

It’s a book about Jinnie’s!! YES the ones in the bottle, but the setting is both Fantasy and Contemporary and I can’t even begin to tell you how exciting this is. Today I’m sharing some amazing contest news with you and some more details, which hopefully will end up with you being as excited as I am about this book!

EXQUISITE CAPTIVE cover

Forced to obey her master.
Compelled to help her enemy.
Determined to free herself.

Nalia is a jinni of tremendous ancient power, the only survivor of a coup that killed nearly everyone she loved. Stuffed into a bottle and sold by a slave trader, she’s now in hiding on the dark caravan, the lucrative jinni slave trade between Arjinna and Earth, where jinn are forced to grant wishes and obey their human masters’ every command. She’d give almost anything to be free of the golden shackles that bind her to Malek, her handsome, cruel master, and his lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

Enter Raif, the enigmatic leader of Arjinna’s revolution and Nalia’s sworn enemy. He promises to free Nalia from her master so that she can return to her ravaged homeland and free her imprisoned brother—all for an unbearably high price. Nalia’s not sure she can trust him, but Raif’s her only hope of escape. With her enemies on the hunt, Earth has become more perilous than ever for Nalia. There’s just one catch: for Raif’s unbinding magic to work, Nalia must gain possession of her bottle…and convince the dangerously persuasive Malek that she truly loves him. Battling a dark past and harboring a terrible secret, Nalia soon realizes her freedom may come at a price too terrible to pay: but how far is she willing to go for it?

Inspired by Arabian Nights, EXQUISITE CAPTIVE brings to life a deliciously seductive world where a wish can be a curse and shadows are sometimes safer than the light

For the ones that always love to swoon over boys, here is how Heather pictures her two main-male character.. and oh damn holy hotness:

So and just for you to know – I am so Team Raif – even though Malek is a hell of a guy and I’m not sure yet what to make of him. I guess we are having a love-hate relationship and I’m owing this to Heather’s extreme way of awesome in making me feel so torn about this Slave Master!

  1. *falls down dead after looking at Malek and Raif* I don’t know how I’m expected to focus on work the rest of the day Danny when you post pictures like that. *shakes fist at you for posting and Heather for finding/writing that kind of hotness* You know I cannot wait to read this book! I’m putting it off because I don’t want to read it and then have it be over, so I’m biding my time. After seeing those pictures though….I don’t know how much longer I can hold off:)
