Super Six Authors That I Recommend to Everyone

There are very few authors that I’ll read anything that they release, and the list is very short for authors that I recommend to my friends and coworkers when they want something new to read. Here’s the authors that I have no qualms about pushing onto them.

SSS_AllisonBrennan

Allison Brennan is my go-to author for my friends who like mysteries and thrillers that feature strong female main characters. Her books are well-written, deftly plotted, and well-researched, all while being realistic, exciting, and fun. Plus, she has about twenty books published and counting, so you can really dig into her books and stay there for a while!

SSS_DaryndaJones

Darynda Jones  is for my friends that don’t mind snarky female lead characters and sexy alpha males. Her books are fun, smart, dangerous, and just all around brilliant.

SSS_JessicaSorensen

Jessica Sorensen is an author that I only recommend to my friends that aren’t angst or cliffhanger wimps. If they can’t take heartache or characters that are in the some of the darkest days of their lives before finding love and redemption, then I don’t pimp these marvelous books on them. Because these books hurt so good, I know that I can’t stay away.

SSS_JLBryan

I seriously haven’t met a book by J.L. Bryan that I haven’t enjoyed. He knows how to do horror and off-beat humor right, and he continues to put out amazing new books that I’m glad to recommend to people.

SSS_KatieMcGarry

Katie McGarry is another author who’s books have just gotten better and better with each new release, and the angsty, downtrodden characters looking for redemption and love have me hooked. I totally push these on everyone that I know.

SSS_KGMS

Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s books that they’ve written together have been marvelous, and they’re solo work has been stellar too. It’s even better because their collective work encompasses witches, aliens, and ghosts…such a wide variety to interest anyone.

So those were my Super Six Authors that I recommend to people. I can’t wait to see who you tell everyone to read whenever you get a chance!

  1. Darynda Jones has been on my to-read list for quite awhile! I just haven’t gotten around to hers yet, and I have Beautiful Creatures on my kindle app waiting to be read – and I know several others of theirs look awesome too! i love witches and other supernatural things so it’s awesome that they write about my favorite things!

I LOVE a great mystery/thriller and I’ve never heard of Allison Brennan – it’s awesome she has so many books available, when I find a new favorite author I love to delve into their stuff and binge read!

Thanks for encouraging me to read some authors I’ve been procrastinating on – even though they look awesome – and for introducing me to a new author that really piques my interest! It’s always thrilling to come across a new author that really grabs you!
