Super 6 Books I Can’t Wait To Read With My Kids!
My kids are still pretty young and we’re definitely enjoying the chapter book phase, but still, I REALLYYYYYYY can’t wait for them to be just a smidge older so we can enjoy some longer books with more complex themes. Here’s the list I can’t wait to share with them!!
This series reinvented Middle Grade books and ensnared the imaginations of countless kids. Plus, talk about character growth! And story arcs! I can’t wait to blow their minds with this!!!
I love the themes of independence and personal responsibility in this series. Plus Goldie Roth is a KICK ASS heroine and I can totally see my youngest in her!
Sci fi and politics. Lord of the Flies and Isaac Asimov. And just hard core awesome. Nuff said!
Oh my goodness how this book messed with my head. I can only imagine how this will mess with their heads!!!
I know my kids are going to get a lot of high fantasy. But high fantasy in a Russian based world? With THE DARKLING!?!??!?!! Yes, please!!!!
Physics….parallel universes…classic literature. Check. Check. Check!
So those are MY top 6 books that I can’t wait to share with my kids. What about you?
Who would you share with? Your kids? Nieces? Nephews? Kids at your school?
What books would you share? Can you narrow it down to only 6???
Let us know!
And now, please link up your Super Six Sunday Posts and visit the other participants to see what books they’d share!

That is such a great list. Every kid should read the Harry Potter series. They definitely teach life lessons.
I, myself, want to read Ender’s Game. I just watched the movie yesterday, and it made me want to read the book.
And Madeline L’Engle is my FAVORITE author. I love the Time Quartet. And the Austins books. A Ring of Endless Light is one of my favorite book of hers.

Ender’s Game & Incarceron are two I didn’t put on my list that I love.
I VERY much agree with HP & WiT, and they both made my list.
I JUST got Shadow & Bone, so I’ll be reading it soon! And I need to check out the Museum of Thieves, because I’ve never actually heard of it!
As I said in my post, this was my FAVORITE SSS so far!

[…] last but not least a link to Bewitched Bookworms who in their infinite wisdom have thought up this meme which I very much enjoyed participating in […]
I so loved this topic 🙂 I don’t have kids of my own yet but being a reader you can’t help thinking about those books you want to share when the time comes.
We don’t actually share any picks but your list is giving me plenty of ideas for books to read with my nieces and nephews. So thanks for that!
Cheers, Kat 🙂
