I love the sweet simplicity of YA books. They seem to be balanced between not being too overwhelming while still being able to tell a good story and even in some cases the topics can be heavy without being too much.

I love that they are easy to read, but have complex ideas. Too many of the adult novels use complex words that translate to nothing.

One of the reasons I love reading YA is that the genre is clean and safe for my nieces to read. I don’t want them to read adult romance books without having the talk about sex.
The story is intact without the sex scene. I’m actually enjoying reading them.
