Love the UK version of the cover best!
The final book in the New York Times bestselling trilogy, perfect for fans of Battlestar Galactica and Prometheus!
Amy and Elder have finally left the oppressive walls of the spaceship Godspeed behind. They’re ready to start life afresh–to build a home–on Centauri-Earth, the planet that Amy has traveled 25 trillion miles across the universe to experience.
But this new Earth isn’t the paradise Amy had been hoping for. There are giant pterodactyl-like birds, purple flowers with mind-numbing toxins, and mysterious, unexplained ruins that hold more secrets than their stone walls first let on. The biggest secret of all? Godspeed’s former passengers aren’t alone on this planet. And if they’re going to stay, they’ll have to fight.
Amy and Elder must race to discover who–or what–else is out there if they are to have any hope of saving their struggling colony and building a future together. They will have to look inward to the very core of what makes them human on this, their most harrowing journey yet. Because if the colony collapses? Then everything they have sacrificed–friends, family, life on Earth–will have been for nothing.
FUELED BY LIES.
RULED BY CHAOS.
ALMOST HOME.

OMG I LOVE THE UK COVER!! I wish it came in hardcover and then I would totally buy that version! I can’t have two hardcovers for the first books and then a paperback for the third.. but I’m not crazy about the US hardcover version. 🙁 UGH!
Anyway! I’m so looking forward to this book too!! I LOVED the first two and the second book ended on such a crazy cliffhanger! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!

I don’t like the new covers for the US editions either, Ashley! I don’t know why they changed them!!! And the UK one is gorgeous, isn’t it!?!?!?!
But like you, I don’t care how they wrap this book up, I can’t WAIT to read it!!!!!!!

Here’s my new resolution: as soon as the final book comes out, read this entire series so I know what the heck I’m talking about when it comes to YA sci-fi. Yeah, I think I can handle that. Great pick!

It took me an entire year before I read the first book. But then I had an opportunity to meet Beth Revis so I got the book and started it and met her. I got her second book as an ARC from the publisher I think b/c I visited her on the tour. I loved both books so much and I swear I have never been so wrong about the direction a book is heading in my entire life. Most unpredictable books I’ve ever read. More lies than the CIA. And now, I’ll get to meet her again to sign my last book, which I’m really sad about. I just wonder already how much Eldest knew about the planet. And God what will they do if they can’t live on the planet? I feel so anxious for them!! I can’t wait for this book!!

I am so excited for this book! I like this cover better than the US covers and I’m pretty sad they changed them 🙁 I understand why they changed them though, so they could market the book to a wider audience. The new covers definitely appeal more to males I think. I’m really sad my copy of Shades of Earth won’t match the first two books though!
