Growing up I didn’t celebrate Christmas, but the best tradition of the season was always getting together with family even if we didn’t exchange gifts or have a big turkey dinner – being with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins was the best part.
The list of books is great – I already own several of them (but haven’t read them…yet, lol)! I think I’d probably pick Starling, since I saw it in a bookstore and have wanted it ever since…

I have two favorite family Christmas traditions! One is baking cookies with my Nana, Mom, and Sister while listening to Christmas Music and visiting. Another one is my whole family (parents, siblings, husband, and daughter) decorating the Christmas Tree while drinking hot coffee or hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music, having the fire place on and everyone telling stories! Happy Holidays to you! My family always opens Christmas presents at midnight or a few minutes into Christmas day and usually I’d watch Nightmare Before Christmas on Christmas eve but this year I skipped that to watch How I Met Your Mother. I love seeing the reactions on people’s faces when they receive their gifts, it makes me happy when I know someone loves what they got, that’d be one of my favourite things about Christmas.

My holiday tradition would be probably to play poker with my big sister and then have death battle with my little bro that eventually turns into a swearing contest. The sales hear is a big thing for us but I’m way too lazy to go and get things, massive queues and noisy places aren’t my thing. I’ve had my eye on the Raven Boys.
As for holiday traditions, my mom and I get together every year and back cookies. It’s an all day affair. This year, I somehow managed to make the best chocolate chip cookies in the world (by complete accident). I took home a gallon bag of them, and they were gone in two days. Oops!
As for New Year’s, the boyfriend and I watch the Twilight Zone marathon!
