Shout out to my Pinterest Addicts! I’m having fun with this Pinterest thing! I never really thought of myself as a visual person, but now when I’m reading I’m thinking of the images I pinned.
I have the tendency to get caught up in that section when you first walk into the library of recommended books. Usually I find an author I’ve never heard of, and every now and again find a real gem! The book I read wasn’t a YA or romance book (surprise, surpise!) and instead was written by a guy who wrote a National Best Seller and has all sorts of writeups by fancy literary peeps who love his “gracefully written story that blends fantasy, philosphical specuation, adventure and crystalline moments of compassion.” Ok – don’t google that or you will give away the game!
I enjoyed the heck out of this book. It made me think, it scared the bejebus out of me and days later after finishing I’m still trying to figure out if I liked it or if it was too dark, or if I just needed a bit of melancholy in this hot summer or what. But as thought provoking as it was, and deep and kinda crazy, I’ve decided I liked it. It made me shiver in my boots. The ideas the popped up in this book were something I had never thought of or read before. So, Mr. Author, mission accomplished! I’ll be posting a review of the book at the end of the month.
I’m going to flip around how I did my Pinterest post and instead, post and pin the pictures I found here first. In a couple of days I will post the cover of the book and you will see what it was I read. Good luck guessing and DO NOT GOOGLE!!!!

I could be completely wrong here, but the first book that came to mind was The Magicians by Lev Grossman.

It is so random – but it would be cool if someone figured it out. I feel like I need a book club to discuss this thing!

Ooh, I like how you used images to give the hints…even though I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what book it might be. I’m not a literary kind of girl, usually, preferring the junk food reads much more but if a book leaves this much of an impression, it’s worth checking out.

Oh my god, you’re making me feel like I have brain damage ’cause I have no clue. I’m not even sure I’m getting this. The pics represent aspects of the book and that’s how we’re supposed to guess which book you’ve read? I feel like I’ve lost the things in the first picture.
