For once, sixteen-year-old Aden Stone has everything he’s ever wanted:
A home.
Friends.
The girl of his dreams.
Too bad he’s going to die…Since coming to Crossroads, Oklahoma, former outcast Aden Stone has been living the good life. Never mind that one of his best friends is a werewolf, his girlfriend is a vampire princess who hungers for his blood, and he’s supposed to be crowned Vampire King – while still a human! Well, kind of.
With four – oops, three now — human souls living inside his head, Aden has always been “different” himself. These souls can time travel, raise the dead, possess another’s mind, and, his least favorite these days, tell the future.
The forecast for Aden? A knife through the heart.
Because a war is brewing between the creatures of the dark, and Aden is somehow at the center of it all. But he isn’t about to lie down and accept his destiny without a fight. Not when his new friends have his back, not when Victoria has risked her own future to be with him, and not when he has a reason to live for the first time in his life…
The story follows up right where Intertwined ended. Aden is Vampire King, which is kind of weird since he’s human and not a Vampire! But he has to deal with this now, he really has no choice since he wants his friends save.
I adore Aden who grows so much in this book, it’s amazing! He takes on his responsibilities although he truly doesn’t want to.
I’m totally in love with Riley, the wonderful protective werewolf. He is the absolut Highlight for me and this is special for me since I normally don’t like werewolves, but he’s awesome! Mary Ann is such a sweet girl and I loved to see the more and deeper developing love between her and Riley. There is also a lot of mystery around Mary Ann and we still have no idea what this all means for herself and for her relationship with Riley!
I even warmed up with Victoria… She became more “human” at least she tried to, which was somehow funny to see. But she’s still not my most favorite character.

I felt like this book didn't do what the first book did. I still enjoy it, just not as much. Nice review 🙂

I really want to read this but I haven't gotten it yet. I'll probably need a refresher on the first one before I read Unraveled because it's been a while.
I'm so glad you liked it though. Gena is an incredible writer and now I'm even more excited to read it.
