Hey girls (and boys, are there boys reading this blog anyway?), while I’m sitting here in the sun and enjoy my vacations I can’t be totally away from the internet and the blogs. Yesterday was a big day for the Hush Hush fans! The cover was drawn live by the artist Laurie Maves at the Denver Teen Lit festival. Awesome idea I think, but unfortunately I was on my way to Mallocra so I couldn’t follow it live.
I know I know we haven’t even reviewed Hush Hush yet, but it will come.. one day…. I’m sure! In the meantime if you haven’t read it yet, please go to the libary and pick it up or go to the next bookstore and buy it, or go and load it onto your Kindle. Anything, just read it. Do I sound over excited about this book? Yes, but I’m so incredible in love with Patch and this book so please let me have the fun of a FanGirl squee!
If you haven’t read the synopsis of Crescendo (the second book in this sequel) yet, I wrote a post last month you can go and read it there or go to Becca Fitzpatrick’s Homepage and read it there.
The cover is there and it’s awesome!
Looooooksie at it:
What I find important to notice that only Nora is on the cover, no Patch to be seen. But I think it makes sense when reading again the synopsis. The Book apparently will focus on Nora’s search for her past and her beginning relationship with Patch. It looks like Patch is going to close himself again so Nora will be alone looking out for her past.
Look at the dropping red feather, awesome and so meaningful, hu? Patch is gliding out of Nora’s hand?
I don’t know but I love the cover!
What do you think about the cover?
Do you miss Patch in the cover?
