It’s Danny here today sharing my ….
Super Six Authors on my Auto-Buy Lists
When I thought about this topic I thought this would be easy. Well… it wasn’t. Because I actually have so many authors that I adore so much that I would read anything from them. So, I had a hard time narrowing it down to 6 and when I was done with the 6 below, I immediately thought of 6 more. Definitely, we need to revisit this topic!!
I mean.. I guess it’s no surprise to see Katie here in top of my list because I think there is not a single author I love as much as Katie. Her characters and stories always amaze me and she is one of the sweetest most wonderful person I’ve meet. I just simply love her!
Ah Julie Kagawa!!! Gosh this woman is amazing, her writing extraordinary. Julie always knows how to make her readers cry and she does not shy away from doing horrific things to her characters. The Iron Fey Saga is one of my all time favourites and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about TALON, where there will be dragons!!! (Psst: Look at her shirt and you see how much she loves Dragons:)
Karen Marie Moning is an evil genius. She’s cruel and for that I admire her so insanely much. I read her Fever series more than I can count and I love her sexy Highlander novels too. But I think her geniusness shows in The Fever Series where she crafted a story unlike anything I’ve read before and after. Layers and Layers of plot, insane twists and the most amazing character.. BARRONS .. OMG.. BARRONS my friends!
I am so so so in love with Wendy and Sweet Evil. She combined my favorite genre, YA Paranormal and upped up the sexiness 🙂 I definitely “sigh for Kai” one of the mist sexy bad boys in YA literature. And now, she published another paranormal story SEE ME which is so different yet it has the special Wendy touch which makes it so unique! With SEE ME she shows that she can write different kinds of stories and still amaze me!
Please, I so damn much would love to meet Anna Banks just once. The OF POSEIDON series is just made of awesome, but what I love even more are her characters and the snark. Gosh, Anna knows how to write amazing dialogues that made you laugh. I wish I could be as snarky as she is and her characters. Anna already wrote a Adult SciFi related story “DEGREES OF WRONG” which I also loved so much!
Ok so I think that Jennifer Armentrout is a genius. Yes, I believe she’s not just one persons but two or three or four. In the few years she started publishing she published already so many stories that I cannot even count them. From Young Adul over New Adult to Adult. From Paranormal, SciFi to Contemporary Jennifer can just about write anything. She’s a master storyteller and I just love every single story she has to tell:)
Honorable Mentions:
- Gena Showalter
- Rachel Vincent
- Simone Elkeles
- Darynda Jones
- Jeannine Frost
So, what about you, Who are your favorite Authors, the one you read no matter what they would write???

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something
to do with web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon.
Cheers

Great list! I actually haven’t read anything from any of the above authors except for Jennifer L. Armentrout, but Katie McGarry is on my list of authors I MUST read before the end of the year 🙂
Btw, I’m using Firefox and I’m having no issues with the format of your post, nothing is running off the screen, I can read it all just fine 🙂

I’ve read books by all of your top authors, except Karen Marie Moning. Julie Kagawa is simply spectacular. She created Ash!
I just finished reading Sweet Evil last night. I’ve been reading a lot of paranormal lately, which is slightly unusual for me because I tend to read mainly contemporary.

So many of these are my favorites too!! I haven’t read Karen Marie Moning yet, but I think that has to be the next one. Everything I’m reading is leading up to her right now. I think I’d add Kasie West and Veronica Rossi to my own list. Fun list!

2/6 are on my list too and so is one of your honorable mentions. I’m surprised you could get your list to 6. If I could, I might not spend all my money on books!
