Today is a special day here at the Bookworms.
Exactly 4 years ago we started the Bewitched Bookworms.
4 years!
Crazy hu?
So much has happened in these last 4 years – but a few things remained.
We still love to read
We still love books – so so much!
We still love to share this love!
We still love to blog!
It’s been some wonderful years where we read tons of amazing books, meet some amazing people and also connected with some incredible authors. Many things we wouldn’t have dared to dream of when we started and it still surprises us daily.
Like the interaction with publishers – What – they really send us books to read? Holy Crazy Sauce!
Or, the Interaction with Authors is something we all never dreamed of when we started blogging and this is just wonderful and amazing!
Then there is the people we meet – the other Bloggers and Readers that give this whole virtual experience also a real life touch! We formed some friendships over these last years, that no one would like to miss anymore.
So today we celebrate 4 years of bookish & bloggish Love with a Giveaway for you guys! And since everyone has their own love for authors and books we are giving away an amazing gift cards so that YOU can choose which books to buy!

I love romances and some of my favorite authors are Courtney Milan, Julia Quinn, Sarah MacLean, Kate Meader, Laura Florand, Nalini Singh and so many more. And I have a latest addition, the wonderful Tahereh Mafi. I devoured her Shatter Me series, reading one book after the other and finished all three in less than a week. ^__^ And she has a scheduled signing event in our city in April so I’m pretty excited about that.

Congrats on your 4 years! And I don’t really have one favorite author, but love quite a few from J.R. Ward, Lizzy Ford, Karen Marie Moning, Kresley Cole, Julia Crane, AJ Bennett, Gena Showalter, Sophie Davis, Lara Adrian, Patricia Briggs, etc. I’ll basically read most genres and try any author. If the book is good, I’ll try another one…if they hook me, I’d read anything they write.

Happy Blogoversary, first and foremost! I hope it is one of many, many more to come! I want to tell you about a new favorite author. I have heard of her and her series for a really long time, but for some reason it took me forever to get on the ball and try it out for myself. And it is a horror series, which I cannot usually resist. I am glad that I waited though, because I got to read the first 8 books in a two week period, and the final book comes out in May! So, I guess I should tell you who and what now….. Karina Halle’s Experiment in Terror series. It is absolutely one of my favorites, ever. There are sexual situations/scenes and a good bit of language, things which I honestly don’t like in my books, but I was able to read the story aside from those negatives, and I LOVE IT! It is scary, the romance is one of my favorites, it is mysterious, it is full of emotion. The characters are incredibly well written and relate-able. It is an awesome series, and I highly recommend it with the warnings about language and sex….
