Super Six Covers of 2014 (so far)
I love a good cover and I know I’ve found myself way too often picking up a book just because it looks so amazing! And, today I want to share the covers coming out 2014 that I love the most. I’m also eager to see what amazing covers are also coming out this year!
Before I even knew what this would be about, I feel in love with the cover! SO pretty and the colors are so amazing. Dissonance definitely caught me with its cover, but when I then read that it will be about parallel realities I was hooked just a little more!
Dissonance by Erica O’Rouke coming July 2014
*squeals in delight* I wish the cover would be bigger so that you can see the amazing details even better. All those feathers that are draped around the type is simply beautiful! The story is about a Harpy who is send to Tartarus but bound to save the world.
Promise of Shadows by Justine Ireland coming March 2014
Well, who doesn’t love this series from Marissa Meyer? I think many people love this series and while I was slightly disappointed with the Scarlett cover, I much more love this one and can’t wait for “Winter”.
Cress by Marissa Meyer coming February 2014
I’m so so excited about this cover! The first cover art definitely was just a little boring and when I saw this new cover art I was in heaven. This one looks so amazing, so stunning and so perfectly fitting for the story.
Nil by Lynne Matson coming March 2014
So I haven’t read Splintered, the first book in this Alice in Wonderland retelling, but I always wanted to. Unhinged is such a freaking amazing cover art that I want to go out and read these books right now. I love the surreal feeling of the cover and the wonderful purple/blue tones and the little touch of green. Outstanding!
Unhinged by A.G.Howard coming January 2014
I know that this is a story that will break my heart and leaves me sobbing, but the cover totally undoes me as well. The type is wonderfully fitting for a YA story and the sky in the back creates a dreamy feeling. I’m just in love!
Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira coming April 2014
And now, I’m super excited to hear which covers you love most.

I love, love love the cover for Dissonance, as well as the colors used. And I love the tiny font. That version of the Nil cover is also gorgeous. And I just got my copy of Unhinged and it looks great beside my copy of Splintered. 😀

Great choices of covers, Danny. I love all of them, especially Dissonance and Promise of Shadows. They’re really unique. I love Cress just because I love the series and it reflects the fairy-tale inspiration beautifully, and Unhinged is also enticing. I love the crazy colors.
