Super Six Series that I Haven’t Read Yet…
What’s stopping me from starting these supposedly fabulous books? I have them all waiting on my shelves or Kindle at home, right at my fingertips…but I still haven’t cracked any of these open yet. They’re all complete series (or nearly complete in the case of the Mortal Instruments series).
If you’ve read any of these, gush about them below to convince me to read them soon. Tell me what you’ve been procrastinating on reading.
Happy Sunday!
and now.. link up your Super Six Sunday Posts!

I’ve not read any of these but TMI. I <3 them and the Infernal Devices. Out of all of them, I'd say read those first since the movie is out next month.

I was thinking I should at least read the first TMI book before I watch the movie. But maybe I’ll watch the movie first so I’m not comparing the two while I watch? I’ve heard the series had horrible cliffhangers, so that’s why I’ve waited.

That’s true. This is one series I actually just read in March so I was lucky not to have the cliffhangers.
Because of this post, I picked up Forest of Hands & Teeth when I was at the library! SO far, (15%) it is kind of like The Village by M. Night Shyamalan & zombies.

I own 1,2,5,6 and have only read the Mortal Instruments series witch is my favorite series ever. You have to read it cause it’s so freaking good. The movie is coming out next month so get on it quick! I’ll be at the midnight premier yay I’m so excited and I can’t wait. As for the other series from this list that I own I’ve heard great thins about but I have not read them. Good luck on choosing which ones to read.

Lol, you’re in the same boat as me! I kept buying them, waiting for the series to be over before I started the books. Then the last book came out and I have a to be read pile so large, who knows when I could possibly get to them?
Book one of TMI will be my first stop, I believe…

From your list, I’ve read the Hush, Hush, Fallen and TMI series! They’re all quite good! Especially TMI! I’m definitely a shadowhunter fanatic. Everything by Cassandra Clare is genius. Her writing is witty, sweet and thrilling. I recommend you read TMI soon. 😉

So a thumbs up for those three series…if only there was more time in the day. TMI seems to be in the lead here.

We are exactly the same, Kimba. New books coming in always seem to push these books to the back of my memory…

Love the Fever series and I’ve enjoyed the Mortal Instruments that I read. However, I seriously disliked both the Hush, Hush and Fallen series. I just couldn’t get past the douchey/stalker/creepy guy love interests. *shudder*

I’m not sure many could be more stalker-y than Edward but Patch and the other dude do their best! Have fun!

Hi! This is my first time participating in this meme and I love the idea of it! TTT is just too much, 6 is a great number and I really like all the themes you guys have come up with. I completely forgot about the Variant Series! I haven’t read those books either but have been wanting to for awhile. Thanks for reminding me! I never could get into the Mortal Instruments books, sadly.

Thanks for participating, Christine! I picked up the Variant series at BEA in 2011 and 2012. Since there’s only two books, I should probably pick it up sooner rather than later.

Great picks. I loved the Hush Hush series and got all of my friends hooked on them as well. Patch is so swoon worthy although maybe a tad scary. I liked the Fallen Series which is apparently being made into a movie along with The Forest of Hands and Teeth Series as well. I didn’t like The Forest of Hands and Teeth but maybe you will. Love love love the mortal instruments series. I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t liked that series so hope you can find out soon. I haven’t heard of The Fever or the Variant Series but I hope you enjoy!

It seems like every YA is optioned for a movie these days. The Fever series comes highly recommended by a lot of people (especially my co-blogger Danny). I just need to get through my pile of books that I’ve promised to read and get to this backlog.

Honestly? I haven’t read these series either. They all look really good though. With the movie coming out soon though, I’m thinking of reading City of Bones.

I’ll watch the movie, but I’ll still start with book one. In afraid too much will be different and I’ll miss something.

I haven’t finished the Mortal Instruments series either! I’ve only read the first book haha, but I really enjoyed it. I read Variant last year I think, and I didn’t really enjoy it that much actually. But maybe you’ll like it more 🙂
