Welcome to my favorite Feature:
“Waiting on” Wednesday is hosted weekly by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
True by Erin McCarthy
Expected publication:Â May 7th 2013 by InterMix (Penguin Imprint)
Genre: New Adult Contemporary
Love the colors and love the cover! Perfect cover for a cute New Adult Book!Â
When Rory Macintosh’s roommates find out that their studious and shy friend has never been with a guy, they decide that, as an act of kindness they’ll help her lose her virginity by hiring confident, tattooed bad boy Tyler Mann to do the job…unbeknownst to Rory.
Tyler knows he’s not good enough for Rory. She’s smart, doctor smart, while he’s barely scraping by at his EMT program, hoping to pull his younger brothers out of the hell their druggy mother has left them in. But he can’t resist taking up her roommates on an opportunity to get to know her better. There’s something about her honesty that keeps him coming back when he knows he shouldn’t…
Torn between common sense and desire, the two find themselves caught up in a passionate relationship. But when Tyler’s broken family threatens to destroy his future, and hers, Rory will need to decide whether to cut her ties to his risky world or follow her heart, no matter what the cost…
New Adult! I can’t look anywhere without a new book published labeled as New Adult – and .. it’s so exciting! When I got a mail highlighting this title I was instantly hooked and excited! This sounds like exactly these kind of books I’m hopelessly addicted to!Â
And… (again I’m cheating)… I already read it and LOVED it!!! It was cute, funny and super sexy – exactly how I like it!
Are you a New Adult fan? Then, add this book and grab a copy as soon as it is out!Â
Much Love,

I love that this new adult cover isn’t composed of a kissing cover (thank god). It does look awesome and I’m glad you enjoyed it so much! will have to add it to my TBR!

OMG Danny! This book looks so amazing! The cover is beautiful, the couple look good together, and the hot pink just pops! Love it! Plus, New Adult books are my favorite right now, I can’t get enough of them. The storyline sounds like one that I will love. I added it to my TBR on GR’s!

Oh, wow! This one is a new one for me but it looks awesome. I haven’t read a ton of New Adult but what I’ve read so far is just awesome. Finally, MC’s I actually relate to in my 20s! I’m definitely adding this one to my TBR!

THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD! I have anxiety just from reading the blurb though, knowing at some point poor Rory is going to find out that Tyler was hired by her friends. I HAVE ALL THE FEELS! And you’ve read this already? LUCKY YOU! Is it on NetGalley or Edelweiss that I can try requesting it? Though it’s a Penguin imprint so that likely wouldn’t work out well for me:)

I do need to get more into new adult. Although all I can think about now that I’ve looked at that cover is how gorgeous that girl’s sweater is.

You see new adult books popping up all the time in indie and self pubs, but it’s kinda exciting how many have been finding a home with traditional pubs in the last half year. Took ’em awhile but they’re finally getting with it. lol
