Happy Friday Welcome to our Friday Feature!
My Friday Love is a weekly  where we want to share what we loved during this past week.
My Friday Love is…
Warm Bodies News!
I read and reviewed Isaac Marion’s zombie book, Warm Bodies, back in May 2011. I loved this book written from zombie guy R’s point of view, and I was super excited when they announced that a movie was going to be made by Summit. And the first trailer has been released!
Doesn’t that look seriously amazing? They actually seemed to capture the tone of the book–the humor, the personality of R, while changing things in a way while staying true to the essence of the story.
And Isaac Marion has announced that he’s writing a sequel to Warm Bodies! Check out the full post announcing this on his blog.
I wrote Warm Bodies having only the faintest hope that it would ever see publication. I never dreamed that I’d have the opportunity to continue the story in another book, so I tried to make it self-contained. But in my head, I still went ahead and created a big, complex world full of history and mystery and people and monsters and strange things in-between, all moving toward something only hinted at in Warm Bodies’ brisk 256 pages. Those pages end with hope on the horizon, but the world that R, Julie, M, Nora, Rosso, and Perry inhabit is still very dark, very wild, and not even close to “saved.” –Isaac Marian, http://burningbuilding.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-bit-of-news.html
This is such great news. I can’t wait to jump back into this dystopian world and catch back up with Julie and R.
Enjoy your weekend everyone. I’m going to try to sleep off my exhaustion from seeing Breaking Dawn Part II at midnight. But first, tell me what you think about the Warm Bodies movie trailer and sequel news. Are you as excited for these as I am?
Much Friday Love,

Love the humor in this! Reminds me of Shawn of the Dead in a way (not really but the humor’s there). Can’t wait to see it — and read more!

It’s similar to Shaun of the Dead with the humor, but from the zombie’s point of view. I seriously cannot wait for this second book. Write faster Isaac, write faster!
