Welcome to my favorite Feature:

“Waiting on” Wednesday is hosted weekly by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Today, I have a book I am literally dying to read…

Sweet Hope by Wendy Higgins

Sweet Hope

Book 2  of The Sweet Trilogy

Book 1: Sweet Evil (which was epic awesomeness!)
Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal
Expected publication: ?? by HarperTeen (?)
Note: this NOT an official cover!  This cover was done by Jenny @ Supernatural Snark after I saw those images and was literally begging to try her mad photoshop skills on this cover! You can see more awesome covers for Sweet Hope in the contest post! (more info see below!)

Anna Whitt promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a claim. She’d been naive about a lot of things.

Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, plaguing her heart and mind.

When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win, will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues that have formed between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?

(note: This title has not yet been picked-up for publication. The author will update information when applicable.).

I cannot express how much I loved the first book Sweet Evil and how hard I feel for Kaidan – hot sexy bad boy of Sweet Evil. As you see in the note on goodreads, this book has not yet been picked up by Harper for publication. It’s a shame if you ask me!

This book was incredible and I am dying to read this sequel!

So, can we do something to help?

Yes, we can add all our reviews to amazon and we can all out this book on our goodreads  shelfs!

Also, to support Wendy Higginswho is the sweetest person ever – we are running an epic contest right now… And the price is incredible:

Wendy Higgins will name a character after the winners name!

IKR?

….so please spred the word about Sweet Evil and Sweet Hope and enter the contest:

Much Love,

  1. Hehe, just a few minutes ago I signed that petition for Sweet Hope. I mean, how can those publishers not pick up the sequel to Sweet Evil? Are they insane???

Anyway, great pick. Here’s hoping we see it on the shelves early next year!<3

    P.S. I love that cover!

I’m hopeful too, Harper Teen can’t ignore this series just like that.

Yup, here it is. We need to get more readers and fans to sign it. 😀
