Yay for Fridays!!! The week’s almost over and it’s time for a whole love of Blog Love and Networking!

Let’s start with Jen’s Blog Hop.

Every week she features a blogger and a question. This week’s question is from Sue at Cookie’s Book Club:

What keeps you reading beyond the first few pages of a book, and what makes you want to stop reading a book and put it back on the shelf?

Great question, Sue!! For me, it’s about the story. I need to be intrigued, I need to be pulled into that world, I need to like the characters enough to want to know what happens next. If I don’t get that….meh.

This week’s question is from Erika at Let’s Talk About Books:

ACK! Your favorite book/movie character (example Hermione Granger played by the Emma chick) just walked into the room! Who is it and what would be your first reaction? You get extra points if you include visual stimulation.

Oh, oh, oh! I so would freak out if I met Buffy the Vampire Slayer!!

I just so FANGIRL adore that character (and the chick that played her is super sweet too!).

    For the books that I'm stashing in rooms, I read in short bursts. To keep reading them I must be able to remember where I am even if I've only read a couple pages or haven't been able to read in days. Come see how I decide what to keep reading and what to stop.

    I don't know why I keep reading a book. It's not the story. It's not the characters. I really don't know!

    These book blogger hop questions just get better and better. This one looks easy but I think it’s a trick question. We all know it’s the same answer – the writing – but we all have different perspectives of what good writing is.
