Nil by Lynne Matson

This new Cover is so insanely awesome!!!

On the mysterious island of Nil, the rules are set. You have exactly 365 days to escape—or you die.

Seventeen-year-old Charley doesn’t know the rules. She doesn’t even know where she is. The last thing she remembers is blacking out, and when she wakes up, she’s naked in an empty rock field.

Lost and alone, Charley finds no sign of other people until she meets Thad, the gorgeous leader of a clan of teenage refugees. Soon Charley learns that leaving the island is harder than she thought . . . and so is falling in love. With Thad’s time running out, Charley realizes that she has to find a way to beat the clock, and quickly.

Right now, it’s hard to label Nil correctly, but the best way to describe it would be a Young Adult  Survival Mystery with a SciFi twist and a “LOST” feeling. Wooth, thats a handful :)

I’m reading this right now and I can tell you guys, this is a book which definitely belongs to your wish lists! And, I LOVE the new cover. The old one was kind of boring and this new one looks amazing, and it makes soo much sense once you got to know “Nil”.

So, now I’m excited to see your picks for today!!

    Hi Danny
I’m fairly new to blogging so please forgive my elementary beginning. I am still trying to get a handle on where I belong and where my interest may lie in the blogging world. My daughter is a web designer and she is building my site currently. I’m very excited about that. I think the book you just recommended would be awesome for my other daughter Katie and I will recommend it to her. She turns 24 today and is a beautiful artist. I am hoping that if a book of mine ever sees the light of day that she will be my illustrator. Anyway, you said to say “HI” so that is what I am doing! I’m looking forward to more from you!

    • Hi Sarah! It’s so wonderful to met you, thank you so much for stopping by today !
Don’t you please worry about all these blogging stuff, it’s confusing in the beginning but it will get better and easier :))

Do you have a link to your blog?

Oh and NIL is suuuuch an awesome book and such a great story and I hope you and Katie will love it! And gosh, I’d love being so talented and would love to be designer too!

Again, thanks Sarah for stopping by!

        Hi Danny!
I do not have a blog site yet. My daughter Christine who does have her own blog is a designer/builder of web sites and is currently working on one for me. As soon as she gets is going I will forward on to you and maybe with your guidance I can learn to blog successfully. He blog is Bluegrass Blogger.com. If you get a minute check her out. She is a lovely writer. Thanks so much for responding!

  2. Wow. I’m a baby blogger too! This is my first time participating in WoW and it’s very exciting! Although, I’ve been a follower of your blog for quite some time now :)

I’ve been seeing this one a lot here lately! I really think I’m going to have to pick it up when it comes out! The premise just sounds so intriguing! Great pic!
