When did you realize reading was your passion and a truly important part of your life?
What a great question! I’ve been so fortunate to have a passion for reading my entire life, so I sometimes forget how important it is to me because it’s the same as eating or breathing. But it’s nice to stop for a second to remember how fortunate I am to have access to so many wonderful books to read! Thanks for bringing that to mind, Elena!

In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer…let’s talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?
My absolute FAVORITE fairy tale is The Twelve Dancing Princesses by the Brothers Grimm! There’s just something about the combination of being a beautiful ballerina/princess AND the intrigue of the story that makes me want to swoon old school when I think of it. My favorite interpretation of this story is Heather Dixon’s Entwined. HOLY COW was that a great book!

The 12 Dancing Princesses is a great fairytale. I loved that they wore their shoes out by dancing.
