I have been reading more Adult romances lately and I’ve been quite drawn to the cowboy, western type of romances. Bonded is part of a series, but can be totally read also as a standalone, which is what I did as I haven’t read the previous books.

A bitter cowboy who pushes everyone away from him! Stubborn stupid cowboy…

Blue just realized that he is related to the Cavanaugh brothers and his mother never told him that it’s the old Cavanaugh who is Blue’s father. Blue is shocked, angry and feels betrayed and instead of dealing with his issues he pushes everyone away from him.

Blue is seriously messed up when we meet him and he wouldn’t let anyone close to him and he pushes away each attempt from either his mother or his new brothers.

Then, there is also his ex girlfriend Natalie who hides a secret and is creepy as hell..

But then her meets someone who changes him completely!

Emily has lived a sheltered live with her over protective parents and brothers and now finally wants to live her own live, so she’s not up for complications – but then she meets Blue and gets pregnant.

Their relationship has a very unique dynamic, with a one night stand leading into into a child and now they have to see if they can fall for each other or not. It’s different, unique and I loved Emily’s strength in how she put Blue in his place and finally makes him open up.

Bottom Line

Bonded comes with great characters, a messed up Cowboy who is so hurt that he pushes everyone away and a strong female lead that changes Blue’s life! Add in the mystery of Natalie and a mysterious stalker and we have a great romance, mixed in with some wonderful romance and great characters and Bonded is a fantastic read!
