It’s getting colder again and this also means my wish to read Epic Fantasy increases significantly! I just love to get lost completely into a world that is so unlike ours. A world full of magic, fantastical creatures that leaves room for epicness and heroes!
Danny’s Favorite Epic Fantasy
Snow Like Ashes completely blew me away this year! It has everything I wish and long for in a YA Epic Fantasy. A phenomenal heroine, a wonderful romance and a great worlbuilding! This was a 5* read for me!
Kiss of Deception was so so freaking good!!!!! It used such a unique way of storytelling with an amazing twist! The romance was beautiful and so wonderful!
Seriously, Stolen Songbird is such a unique story. With Trolls as the mythical creature. I am still so heartbroken that the publisher “Strange Chemistry” announced that they are discontinuing this fantastic imprint! I hope Danielle Jensen will find a way to continue this great story!
Well, this series is the QUEEN of YA Epic Fantasy! What shall I say, that has not yet been said about this incredible series full of wonderment!
Upcoming in Winter 2014 2015
and here are some books I am super excited about to get into my hands!
Tell me, do you also love Epic Fantasy, and maybe even a little more during the dark days of fall and winter? Which are your favourites and about which are the ones you are most excited about coming this winter?

I have only read “Heir of Fire” and I totally agree. It’s such an amazing book and a gorgeous series, too! *_*
“Snow Like Ashes” is still on my tpr-pile, but I will probably read it soon 😀

I love fantasy!! I really enjoyed Stolen Songbird and can’t wait for Hidden Huntress! I have HoF and TKoD but haven’t read them yet. I really want to but I think I’m going to wait until it’s closer to the next books’ release dates 😀 I’m really looking forward to Princess of Thorns and The Orphan Queen. Thanks for sharing this!

LOVE this post! I’m also a HUGE fantasy reader so these recs are GREAT. DEFINITELY agree with you on Heir of Fire ♥ – you might be the only other blogger I know who has as much love for the series as I do 😀 All the rest of these are basically on my wishlist/tbr shelf. I actually own Stolen Songbird, Snow Like Ashes and Stitching Snow but The Sin Eater’s Daughter, Orphan Queen, An Ember in the Ashes and Princess of Thorns are ALL ones I’m dying to get my hands on! Awesome post ^^

Snow Like Ashes and Stolen Songbird are both soooo good! Kiss of Deception and Heir of Fire have both been on my TBR for a while but I haven’t had a chance to read them yet.

Oooh some new ones in here for me. I can’t wait to check them out. Thank you.
If you like fantasy with epic battle scenes and gripping action, I would recommend Jacob Cooper’s Circle of Reign. Nobody writes that stuff like Cooper . That book has made him one of my absolute favorite authors now. An absolute must read in fantasy this year. http://www.circleofreign.com/
