Some books, though they might not be coming out for a few months, need an early squee — we just can’t hold in our excitement about them! Sure, we’ll do full reviews closer to the release date but this feature gives us a chance to share a little bit of our love, whether it be for the story, cover, characters, or whatever. Ok, so I adore Rebecca Maizel – her Vampire Queen series is one of my favourites and when I saw that she has a YA Contemporary coming up next, of course I was excited!
Between Us and the Moon is wonderful! It has a great heroine, a girl who uses the summer to finds herself and defines herself and everything she went thought felt perfectly genuine. Of course, there is romance involved and I loved Andrew so much. The problem? She’s 16 he is 19 … and to be quite honest I didn’t mind the age difference at all. But of course… socially, it’s a huge deal. In any case, the book was wonderful … apart from the end, where I was just hoping for more. But.. the rest 99% of the book were simply great!
So yes, I Between Us and the Moon definitely deserves an early squee!

Later in life these 3-years seems like nothing – but of course, it’s different in these teen years. Still, I wouldn’t honestly make such a big deal out of it – but it’s social norms that dictate her.. The story really is cute!

I need this in my life. Rebecca is my fave author. The vampire queen series is the best. I cannot wait for this. Thanks for sharing. Im really excited about this book!!
