I have the most amazing post for you guys today!!! It’s the funniest post and .. Hottest.. I’m having to share. So here is the thing. I absolutely LOVED Â Demons at Deadnight – the first book in this series. And … this might have included the fact that there are quite a few hot boys in the picture! The infamous Hex Boys!
You  see, Aurora somehow ended up with these smoking hot boys to go and hunt demons!
So when thinking about Guest Posts for the tour, I asked the ladies about Tips from Aurora (the main character) about some tips to work with the Hex Boys!
And…well, let’s say that the Boys wouldn’t let Aurora alone on this one and completely took over, and .. made me blush a few times too…
Aurora: Oh boy, tips on how to work with the Hex Boy’s? I wish I’d gotten the handbook. First thing you’ve got to understand is that they have no concept of personal boundaries. In fact…lets give it five, four, three, two, and…*points at door*
*Door opens*
Logan: Hey, I respect personal boundaries. It’s Blake that doesn’t. Blake, come with me right now! Wait where is he?
Aurora: He’s not here.
Logan: How did that happen? I was sure he was going to crash your interview.
Aurora: *Turns back to Danny* Tip two, know that the Hex Boys always travel in packs.
Danny: Oh I already heart all about this…
*door opens again*
Ayden: All right Blake, let’s go. You’ve crashed enough interviews.
Logan: He’s not here. Yet.
Ayden: How did we beat him?
Logan: *shrugs*
Ayden *sits down beside Aurora* We’ll wait and catch him when he shows up. Always nice to see you Danny. What’s next, Aurora? Always stay close to the most smokin’ hot Hex Boy?
Aurora: Are you ever going to let that go? *shakes head* Tip three, Matthias is a jerk and feel free to tell him so. Show weakness and he will own you.
Matthias: *walks in with whips coiled in each hand* Which means I’ve owned you forever. You show nothing but weakness.
Aurora: See? Jerk. Tell him often. On the upside, if you need a babysitter, he’s your guy. My sister Selena adores him. But then again. She’s five.
Matthias: Your whole family adores me.
Aurora: Only because they don’t know you like I do.
Matthias: *rolls eyes* I wish you didn’t know me at all. Where’s Blake?
Ayden: Not here.
Logan: Yet.
Aurora: Tip five is to not let Ayden distract you with those dreamy eyes, sultry moves, and smokin’ hot everything.
Ayden: *narrows eyes* Ok, what did you do?
Aurora: *Lowers voice* I’ll tell you when Matthias isn’t close enough to hear or yell at me. *turns to Danny* Oh, and if Ayden comes at you with handcuffs, run.
Ayden: That was one time and it was only to make sure you stayed put so you’d be safe.
Logan: But we ended up needing her help, which is what I told you guys.
Aurora: *smiles at Logan* Tip six, in tough situations, always ask Logan’s opinion. He doesn’t talk much, but his mind’s like a steel trap always working out the best angles. *pats Logan’s head* But don’t flash to much skin or he’ll faint. Tip seven, don’t tell Blake a secret. Guy can’t keep one. Tip eight, when Tristan panics, don’t join in. It only makes things worse.
Tristan: *comes through door with Jayden* Just because I take the end of the world as we know it seriously, as you all should, doesn’t mean I panic.
Matthias: Not helping your case there, mate.
Jayden: This is not an ‘end of the world’ situation. When Blake strove anew to deceive us into giving him Danny’s abode, we concluded he planned to infringe upon your convocation so we came to repossess him.
Ayden: *smiles at everyone’s confused looks* They came to get Blake.
Aurora: Tip nine, carry a thesaurus when you’re with Jayden.
Ayden: I can translate him.
Aurora: But you’re not always around.
Ayden: When are you alone with Jayden? Is he experimenting on you again?
Jayden: It was a single incident!
Aurora: Can I just point out to you geniuses that everyone but Blake is here.
Blake: *comes in through door* No, I’m here babe! Danny, you just keep getting more beautiful by the second.
Danny: *blushes furiously*Â
Aurora: *Snaps fingers and points at Danny* Tip ten, ignore Blake’s flirting.
Blake: Impossible! Who would want to?
*The Hex Boys all raise their hands*
Blake: Always with the jealousy. Tsk tsk. Ignore them, Danny, and look what I got my gadget loving girl! *shows Danny small black metal disc in this hands* This is next, next generation chickadee. It’s a Mandatum tracker! Keep it with you always.
Danny: *looks at the black metal disc quite confused*Â
Matthias: So you can follow her?!
Logan: *groans and drops face in hands* Oh, Blake.
Tristan: Don’t take it, Danny!
Danny: *drops the weird metal box instantly*Â
Ayden: That’s so creepy!
Aurora: Blake, we need to talk.
Jayden: Even I know that is wrong.
Blake: What? She can turn it on if she’s ever in trouble and we can go save her.
Hex Boys and Aurora: Oh.
Blake: Jeez, you guys are such stalkers.
Matthias: You still can’t leave Mandatum technology with her. *takes tracker from Blake* Sorry Danny, but it’s for your protection.
Danny: Uhm.. I actually like to be save? No?
Blake: But what if she gets into danger?
Danny: See?
Matthias: She won’t. She’s not stupid like Aurora.
Aurora: Smarter than you, Australia.
Matthias: Oh please.
Aurora: Escaped you. Twice. How’s that bruise looking?
Matthias: That was luck and there’s no bruise.
Aurora: Really? *stands up and reaches for Matthias* Let me check.
Matthias: No. *Dodges and backs out door.*
*Aurora goes after him*
Matthias: Ow! Ayden get your stupid nitwit off me!
Ayden: Like I can control her?
Aurora: Ow! Who hits a girl?
Matthias: You’re not a girl.
Jayden: Not true. Her anatomical make-up consists of decidedly female components including a va—
Logan: No, no, no! *slaps hands over ears*
Jayden: *gives him a confused look* Including a variety of gender specific biological essentials which quantify her as muliebrous.
Aurora: *comes back in* Thank you. I think.
Ayden: I don’t think it was much of a compliment.
Aurora: At least he called me a girl. So Danny, final tip for working with Hex Boys. Trust them. As annoying and nuts as they can be, if you’re in a jam, especially the supernatural kind, there’s nobody better at getting you out of it. Now, we’ll get out of your hair. Thanks for having us!
Blake: See you guys later! *sits down and scoots closer to Danny* So gorgeous, how about you and I—
Logan: Nope. *Grabs back of Blake’s shirt and with Jayden’s help drags him out*
Tristan: Danny, sorry about…everything. We’re usually much better than this.
Jayden: No we’re not.
Hex Boys: Shut up, Jayden!
Danny: *snickers*  Thank you all so much for being here today! Even though I only asked Aurora for some tips, I’m uhm.. grateful about all your insights too! and .. Blake, about that……. 😉
