Happy Friday!!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! In case you might have wondered where the heck the Bookworms were this last week, well , I (Danny) am right now on my annual Vacation Trip, and this year we are to Florida (Universal Studios & Harry Potter!!!) Β and then to the Caribbean! I will try to post occasionally, but quite frankly, I just want to enjoy me holidays! πŸ™‚

So coming to todays post – I am quite excited to be the Featured Blog onΒ ParajunkeeΒ &Β Alison Can Read‘sΒ Follow Friday Feature. If you head over toΒ Alison Can Read‘ you can see a short Interview with me.

So now, let’s get to this weeks question:

Describe your favorite book character death scene. Why is it your favorite? Was it a villain or a hero? What made it so good? (Another prompt from book club πŸ˜‰ )Β Β – Suggested byΒ Eternity Through Pages

Ok this is a question I can’t answer as I always hate when characters die. So I go and modify the question a little bit and talk about the Book Character Death’s that had the most impact on me.

1.) Barrons supposed Death in DreamFever by Karen Marie Moning:Β

This book ended in a cliffhanger and everyone was wondering for more than a year if Barrons was indeed dead or not. This completely drove me insane and I was always in between hating Karen Marie Moning or admiring her incredible story telling talent!

2.) Eric’s Death in the Chicagoland Vampire Series

Oh this was a bad one. I was so freaking mad at Chloe Neill that I refused to even rate the book. Eric is the “hero” the Love interest in this series and then she kills him? This nearly killed me and stopped me from reading the next book. It took me quite a while to give this series another chance!

3.) Tris Death in AllegiantΒ

Truth is, I didn’t even read the last book. After I heard on twitter what is going to happen I refused to read this book. I mean, how can an Author expect me to be invested in a character only to see her dying at the end? No no NO! No! I refuse to read this one now. It goes even so far as that I am not evenΒ intent to see the movie. Why invest in a romance when there is no happy ending? That might be just me, but I’m still not getting over this!

So, now it’s on you to share your Thoughts and Link up your post!

Me too!!! I hadn’t read Insurgent yet and wasn’t planning to read it till I was old enough (Yep. I am that kind of person) I was old enough to read it and then Allegiant came out and I read the reviews (People were so mad they didn’t bother warning about the spoilers) and just like that, I decided not to read Insurgent or Allegiant, I didn’t even want to watch the movie but I ended up watching it with my family and I told them what happens to Tris after we watched Divergent and we decided we aren’t going to watch any of the movies after the first one. I was already pretty heartbroken watching the first movie knowing she was going to die later on πŸ™

  2. Hello, I’m a new follower! Followed you via e-mail and Bloglovin’.

I’d been wanting to start the Divergent series (yes, I’m the only one in the world who haven’t read it yet) but was spoiled by friend on Tris’s death. I don’t even know if I still should read the series after knowing the fact that the main character’s gonna die.

  3. I haven’t read any of these books, but I am glad I dodged the emotional bullets! I don’t do well with deaths of major/love interest characters. It gets all ugly cry.

My pick for this week was a villain! Oh, sweet justice.
