Pre-Squee_Movie
Welcome to the Pre-Squee, a new weekly feature here at the Bookworms and at The Book Swarm. Some books, though they might not be coming out for a few months, need an early squee — we just can’t hold in our excitement about them! Sure, we’ll do full reviews closer to the release date but this feature gives us a chance to share a little bit of our love, whether it be for the story, cover, characters, or whatever. We’re quite flexible in our book love. Sometimes, we also like to Squee about Movies of TV Shows! Basically, everything we are excited about!

So today we Squee about

Maze Runner – The Movie

Book Trailer of Awesome

Have you read Maze Runner? I didn’t – but I know that many people loved it so so much! I however met James Dashner at a Scholastic Party and he was so amazing!

But… even though I haven’t read the book, I am super excited about this movie! It does look amazing and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen!

I have not read the book yet, but I do have the first two books. I just want to see the movie first, that way I won’t be comparing them back and forth. I am super excited for the movie, though!

    Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

I haven’t read the book yet but I did watch the trailer. It looks intense. I’m claustrophobic so I’m a bit bugged by the images of the walls closing in but that’s probably why they did that in the film, to freak people out. Thanks for the great prize.

  3. YES TO THIS MOVIE DANNY! And to the guy from Teen Wolf. LOVE HIM! I haven’t read the book, but I’m super excited to go see this. I’m hoping I’ll be able to convince Kevin to go with me, but he’s understandably wary of movies based on YA books after I subjected him to the debacle that was Vampire Academy. I think he’s lost all faith in my movie-picking abilities:)

Haven’t read the book yet but I’m excited to watch the movie. I have been told numerous times to read the book but the library copy has a bazillion holds placed on it 🙁 Thanks for the giveaway – hopefully I’ll win so I can finally read it!

I’m most of the way through the 3rd book. I have enjoyed them a lot, but I’m hoping some stuff gets answered at the end of the third book, because I’m still as lost as I was at the beginning. From the trailer, it appears as though the movie is going to be quite different from the books, but I guess we’ll wait and see. I’m still excited to see it.

I haven’t read it and won’t until after the movie. I get upset that movies never make me feel like the book did. So if I go to the movie first I’m okay. Thank you.

I’ve read the book and loved it. I am very eager for the movie but also apprehensive, so many book made movies have disappointed me.

  10. I really liked this book, but I think I really need to read it again before the movie comes out, since I can’t remember all the details. And it’s something my guy friends will actually want to see with me, which is rare! 🙂

I have not read the book. I like to read the books after watching the movie so that I don’t expect too much out of the movie. lol

I found the book to be interesting, I enjoyed it some but hated the ending of the book when things became clear and hoped by reading the remaining books a lot of what I read would be cleared up or make sense. It didn’t. Hope the movie is good.
