So please welcome Victoria Scott!

Hey Victoria, thank you so much for stopping by today and talk to me about your newest Release β€œFire & Flood”.

So happy to be here! Thanks for hosting me.

The Brimstone Bleed is a race across the 4 big ecosystems our world : Jungle, Desert, Ocean and Mountain. During the race, the contestants have 2 weeks to find a certain spot within a defined area. Which ecosystem frightens you most and in which one do you think you would be more comfortable (If we can speak about comfortable at all).

I think the jungle would frighten me the most. Too many ways to die. I think I might have the best shot in the mountains. Maybe. But probably not.

Tella has the absolute cutest Pandora from all of them! Of course, we do not want to spoil anything about Tella’s Pandora, so I wanted to ask you Victoria, if you could create your own Pandora how would it look and what might it be able to do?

My Pandora would resemble a cat, and it would be able to turn back time by sixty seconds every time it meowed. Yeah, that.

When we first meet Tella she does not appear as the kick ass fighter that could win such a race. However, Tella will surprise us all. If you’d let Guy describe Tella for us, how would he describe her, how does he sees her?

In the beginning he’d describe her as spunky, attractive…and a lost cause.

Speaking of Guy, you definitely managed to create the super mysterious boy here! Holy Wow! Thank you so much. How important is and maybe also will be Guy for Tella’s survival in the story? Will their connection/romance make them stronger or will it be a hindrance?

In the first book, Guy’s presence definitely helps Tella. In the second, we might find that Tella has to rely on herself and her Pandora more so. Hint, hint.

Fire & Flood would be amazing as a movie, so if you’d create your dream cast for Tella and Guy, who would play them?

I’d cast Jillian Rose Reed as Tella Holloway, and Tyler Hoechlin as Guy Chambers.

   Guy

And last but not least, can you give us a small teaser about what Tella will expect in the next installment of the Brimstone Race?

I’ll give you a few teasers: Three new characters, several deaths, higher stakes, and a stronger, more independent Tella Holloway. πŸ™‚

A modern day thrill ride, where a teen girl and her animal companion must participate in a breathtaking race to save her brother’s lifeβ€”and her own.

Tella Holloway is losing it. Her brother is sick, and when a dozen doctors can’t determine what’s wrong, her parents decide to move to Montana for the fresh air. She’s lost her friends, her parents are driving her crazy, her brother is dyingβ€”and she’s helpless to change anything.

Until she receives mysterious instructions on how to become a Contender in the Brimstone Bleed. It’s an epic race across jungle, desert, ocean, and mountain that could win her the prize she desperately desires: the Cure for her brother’s illness. But all the Contenders are after the Cure for people they love, and there’s no guarantee that Tella (or any of them) will survive the race.

The jungle is terrifying, the clock is ticking, and Tella knows she can’t trust the allies she makes. And one big question emerges: Why have so many fallen sick in the first place?

Danny’s Fire and Flood Review

Quote from my Review

Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott was just full of awesomeness and wonderment! It was full of action with elements of horror but also filled with love, friendship and hope. Tella is a kick ass heroine who we love to see growing during her trials and who needs to believe in her own strength. Fire & Flood is definitely and adventure you don’t wanna miss!

Great Interview. I so can’t wait to read this even more now. I have to read what a Pandora is and I love that there is going to be a second book. It sounds just amazing as the first book does! πŸ™‚

  2. *stares blatantly at Tyler* Ummmmmm. Where has he been all my life? Good heavens, he’s gorgeous. I’m now officially obsessed with him:)

I think I’d have the best shot in the mountains as well, at least the opportunity for food and water would be higher than in the desert (or ocean, in the case of water), and I feel like there might be less creepy insects and large animals trying to kill me in the mountains (aside from bears, and maybe wolves? I don’t know. I fail at survival) than in the jungle. Can’t wait for book two, fabulous interview!

I love that Pandora idea! My Pandora would be a teacup yorkie that could talk in my mind. Hopefully she’d have good things to say and not just babble all the time.
