We know from the previous book in this series, A Night Like This, that Huge and Daniel are able to recover from the events of that night and move forward. But this book focuses on how those events impacted Hugh.

Now that he and Daniel’s friendship is restored, he finds himself trapped in a three-week long wedding extravaganza kicked off with one wedding and then ending in a second. Equals A Supremely Satisfying Romance
At the heart of all of Julia Quinn’s novels is a clever adaptation of the traditional historical romance story lines and witty dialog that makes her characters so fun to spend time with! I love that these stories are populated with women I could easily see myself being or being friends with. They have normal flaws and foibles and their problems, even though their of a different time, are totally relatable. And ultimately, these are stories about the quest for love, and that’s a quest I can ALWAYS get behind!

I like this series because it’s the same world as the Bridgertons but for me, nothing will compare to the Bridgertons. My favorites in that series are the first 4 and then the 6th. Have you read When He Was Wicked yet? It’s PHENOMENAL!!!!!

I’ve been getting back into historical romances lately and have really enjoyed Julia Quinn’s writing. She’s sweet and fun and her characters’ dialog definitely sparkles!

I adored historical romance when I was younger (especially Regency romances). This one sounds perfect for me – I love the fiery female vs the arrogant male theme. Thanks for the review!

I do love JQ. The Sum of All Kisses was great, although defintiely not my favorite. I love all the humor she adds to her books. And seriously, no one does dialogue like JQ!

I skimmed your review Pushy since I have this to read later this month, I am excited. While Quinn’s book tend to be on the sweeter side she does create interesting plots. Glad you enjoyed this one 🙂
