White Space by Ilsa J. Bick
 Series Dark Passages #1
Expected publication:Â February 11th 2014 by Egmont USA
Love this cover! And again with the feathers…Â
Ilsa Bick’s WHITE SPACE, pitched as The Matrix meets Inkheart, about a seventeen-year-old girl who jumps between the lines of books and into the white space where realities are created and destroyed – but who may herself be nothing more than a character written into being from an alternative universe, to Greg Ferguson at Egmont, in a two-book deal, by Jennifer Laughran at Andrea Brown Literary Agency (NA
I love Isla J. Bick and her Ashes series was incredibly awesome! Even though a clear synopsis is missing just this sentence actually sold me:
“The Matrix meets Inkheart, about a seventeen-year-old girl who jumps between the lines of books and into the white space where realities are created and destroyed – but who may herself be nothing more than a character written into being from an alternative universe” Â
hello awesome!!!

I agree that Matrix + Inkheart really sells it. Have you read Inkheart, Danny? If so, did you read it back when you were still reading books in German? I’ve read one of Funke’s books. I think it was Inkheart but I can’t remember.

This sounds like it could be really awesome! But there’s also so much that can go wrong… I’m still definitely reading it (and probably buying because beautiful cover) but I’ll be trying to keep low expectations for it.

This one sounds awesome! I was never really a big fan of The Matrix (except for the effects; that I loved), but I liked Inkheart, so I’m sold already. And the cover is amazing <3

I admit, after the Matrix and Inkheart mention, I got a little fuddled. But it nevertheless sounds awesome. I haven’t read anything else from Ilsa Bick, but I may have to check it out! Great feature this week. Man, that cover!!! : )

I haven’t read anything by this author but I feel like I really need to. I know the Ashes series was a big winner all around. I don’t remember reading anything negative about it. It just kind of passed me by. This one does sound so amazing. A character (maybe) who jumps between white spaces- that is so out there! Gotta mark this one down as a must read!
