"I have a proposition for you..."
Kacey should have run the minute those words left Seattle millionaire Jake Titus's mouth. Instead, she made a deal with the devil in hopes of putting her past behind her once and for all.
Four days.
She could do four days!
But she wasn't counting on Jake’s older brother Travis being there to witness their farce of an engagement.
One thing is for certain.
One brother is right for her.
One wants a lifetime.
And one is in league with the devil.
She should have gotten Jake’s signature in blood.

My Thoughts:

Kacey has a long history with the handsome, rich Titus brothers. She’s known them since they were in grade school and had been popular younger brother Jake’s best friend all through grade school into high school. Older brother Travis was the typical nightmare of a sibling, always picking on her and teasing her relentlessly, but he did so because he secretly liked her as more then friends. Then things changed, and Kacey and the self-absorbed Jake started dating towards the end of high school, but their relationship fell apart during college. As Kacey’s personal life fell apart on so many levels more than just breaking up with Jake, she isolated herself from the second family that she knew in the Titus’ and tried to focus on finishing school and finding a career. But Jake being the way that he is, he never told his family the whole truth about his relationship status with Kacey, so now he needs the biggest favor ever to save his job as CEO of his family’s company and dispell his playboy image that is marring the company’s good name.

Their ailing grandmother is requesting that everyone gather back at home one last time. Just four days of pretending to be a happily engaged couple, that’s all that Jake is asking of Kacey. He’ll take care of her outstanding debts and she’ll take the heat off of him with his parents and the company’s board. But can either of them survive when Kacey associates Jake with every bad thing that has happened to her?

This book was a fun, cute, slightly angsty, fast read. You have sibling rivalry, unrequited love, playful banter, and several steamy scenes that ultimately pay off when Kacey chooses one of the brothers. If you’re worried about a love triangle situation, don’t. It certainly doesn’t come into play with this book. The grandma is hilarious and crafty. She certainly stole many scenes and helped make this book that much more enjoyable for me. I give this one a four out of five, and it’s the perfect sexy, fun beach read for lovers of contemporary romance.
