….but now, welcome Emma here who tells uf 1
10 Secrets about His Highness Galen!
1.) When he runs his hand through his hair, you’re in trouble. Or Rayna’s in trouble. Well, mostly likely Rayna, but possibly you.
Danny: uhm… well, I guess I’d be easily in trouble when being around Galen..
2.) He answers questions with questions when he’s uncomfortable. For instance:
“Galen, do you think this skirt is too short?”
Galen: “Do you think that guy staring at you has too many teeth?”
3.) He secretly likes being called “Highness”. So um, you should do it every chance you get.
Danny:*giggles* Or Emma now you are in trouble…! But.. I think he really likes it too, but he’s never admit that!
4.) I got him to ask Dr. Milligan what the expression “grow a pair” means.
5.) Galen ran his hand through his hair when Dr. Milligan explained to him what the expression “grow a pair” means.
Danny: –> see Number 1..
6.) He still asks me if Toraf is a better kisser than him.
7.) Toraf is NOT a better kisser than Galen. Is all I’m saying.
Danny: Well, I am not sure Emma.. I think I must try and then help you judge!
What?! Bad idea?
8.) He thinks I shrink his shirts in the dryer on accident. So adorable.
9.) He knows how to shoot a gun, courtesy of Rachel.
10.) Lately he’s been self-conscious about his fin…
See what I mean???? First off, how can we not love Galen!!! He’s all alpha male possessive but also adorably cute and swoon worthy hot! And Emma is a girl full of snark and awesome! You’ve got to meet her!
Now, about the Books!
Of Triton
by Anna Banks (Website, Facebook,Twitter)
Series: Of Poseidon #2
Published by Feiwel & Friends,Macmillan on May 28th 2013
Genres: Paranormal, Young Adult
amazon • Book Depository • Goodreads
In this sequel to OF POSEIDON, Emma has just learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm below. Syrena law states that all Half- Breeds should be put to death.
As if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance among the Syrena turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Which leaves Emma with a decision to make: Should she comply with Galen’s request to keep herself safe and just hope for the best? Or should she risk it all and reveal herself—and her Gift—to save a people she’s never known?
and here is a Quote from my Review of Wonderment
Of Triton by Anna Banks was a sequel made of perfection. It was thrilling and sizzling with tension, which was lighted up with a snarky voice and comments that will bring a smile on your face. If you love a unique and outstanding voice, love hot possessive male specimen wrapped in a thrilling and romantic tale and you must go and get a copy Of Poseidon and get started with this series!
Of Poseidon
Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he’s heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma’s gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom . . .
Told from both Emma and Galen’s points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance.
Quote from my Review
Of Poseidon was epic and a pure wonderment! Anna Banks created a tale that was heart-melting, mysterious funny and just fanfreakingtastic! The characters were amazing with a heroine who was smart cute and snarky and Galen the boy who stole Emma’s heart but will also steal yours! Of Poseidon will get a place on my special-awesomeness shelf of epic tales and I hope it will get a place on yours!
