Wicked Kiss
MY KISS CAN KILL.
I used to be ordinary Samantha Day, but that’s changed. Now, after one dark kiss from a dangerous boy, I can steal someone’s soul…or their life. If I give in to the constant hunger inside me, I hurt anyone I kiss. If I don’t…I hurt myself.
Bishop is the one whose kiss I crave most, but if I kiss him, I’ll kill him. Then there’s another boy, one I can’t hurt. One whose kiss seems to miraculously quell my hunger. They’re both part of a team of angels and demons that’s joined forces in my city to fight a mysterious rising darkness, an evil that threatens everyone I know and love. The first book “Dark Kiss” was such a great great last year, so of course I was eager to pick up the sequel “Wicked Kiss”. And… I must say that the sequel was even better than the first book!
Finding Your Soul
Sam lost her soul in the last book and “turned” into a “Grey”. Even more, Sam discovered a lot of secrets about her heritage which still is something she needs to get accustomed to. In Wicked Kiss, Sam wants her soul back, and not just this she wants to save her best friend and the whole city. Much to do for such a young girl. But Sam grew remarkable in Wicked Kiss and loved to see how much Sam became stronger and more determined than in Dark Kiss!
Angels – Demons and some bigger Evil
I loved the whole tale of Angels and Demons fighting together against an even greater evil. Especially the complicated relations between Angels and Demons was something Michelle Rowan played out carefully, convincing and utterly entertaining. It gave the story a lot of depth and room for development of grey zones, something I always love in stories. Good and Evil is easy, but the grey zones in between are those that kept us entertained and fascinated!
Romance, Kissing and love…
Of course, being the truly romantic soul – I especially loved the romance in this book. The tension between Bishop and Sam was sizzling, sweet and sometimes downright hot. Even if I was scared for an upcoming Love Triangle with Kraven playing a bigger role,  I was actually happy to see that it didn’t play such a big role in Wicked Kiss. There was a lot of tension, but ut was never truly in doubt who belongs to whom and I loved that, for once being not conflicted about the choices.
Especially wonderful was the ending. Michelle Rowan clearly knows how to end a book and how to end a story and she most definitely is a woman after my heart giving the reader a conclusion that leaves everyone with a happy face!

Bottom Line
Wicked Kiss by Michelle Rowen brings the two-story series to a beautifully crafted ending that was not short on action and sizzling romance. One couldn’t have wished for a better ending and not one page was boring or dragged out too long. Clearly, this second book is even stronger than the first one “Dark Kiss”. Fans of the paranormal, who love a good romance will definitely need to pick up this series!

Yeah, I was worried about the triangle coming into focus, too, but thank goodness that went away! I loved the tension between the two, also. Fabulous — and enough to drive the reader batty! Plenty of action and a very nice ending.

Oooo that’s a high rating from you Danny! I really need to read this series. I’m glad to know there’s no real issue with Kraven, as much as I love a hot bad boy, I so loathe love triangles, unless of course it’s not really a triangle and the heroine’s choice is made clear. Seems like that’s the case for this one and I’m thrilled about that!

You haven’t read the first one? It’s a great paranormal story with all the elements we love! I was also a little scared of a Love Triangle, but Michelle Rowan did an amazing job, so it didn’t bother me! It’s a great series!

YES I really think it was stronger. No idea why, but I found the ending to be super perfectly played. Characters grew, everything was falling into place and I closed the book with a happy face!
