synopsis from Goodreads
Rating:

The Rift is an epic apocalyptic journey. When an ancient plague arises, causing mankind to become monsters and the dead to rise and walk, the world is thrown into chaos. Small groups of survivors scattered throughout the east coast of North America must brave the terrors of this harsh new reality. On their journey south, they discover that even when the undead roam the earth, man remains his own worst enemy.

This omnibus collects all four books in the series–The Fall, Dead of Winter, Death Springs Eternal, and The Summer Son–into a single volume of horror/dark fantasy for one low price. Also included is a foreword written by author Daniel Pyle.

Fall in love with this dark, apocalypse series!

I absolutely adored all four of these books, The Fall, Dead of Winter, Death Springs Eternal and The Summer Son, and so I’m thrilled to have learned that they’re being released as a single volume. Dark and intense, riveting and down-right un-put-down-able, this series will terrify you, rip your heart out and then put you back together again. And now, you have the chance of reading through without a single stop. *sigh* That’s just good stuff!

So check it out if you’re a fan of intense dark dramas or zombie apocalypse fiction or just darn good writing!!

Now go and get lost…in a book!
Lover of words and authors; absolute fan girl of books! Give me a good story, with characters I can love (and hate) and I’ll follow you anywhere. Sing me a song of worlds I can dream of, and I’ll listen forever.

  1. This looks super-creepy! Just the cover alone is freaking me out (it could be that I’m reading your review while watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy on the CNN New Year’s countdown…with plenty of procecco included but that couldn’t possibly be it, could it?). *deep breath* Anywho, sounds great. I’ll have to check it out! Happy New Year!
